Honestly, leaving the church and investing in myself and community instead of a church has been one of the better decisions I’ve made. I still respect those that practice, but I personally feel a lot more fulfilled and complete without religion.

All facts, I was in an interracial relationship, the yt guy I was with had mixed kids, and me, him and my full Black kids as well as his mixed kids would go to church. This was a mini mega Black church and them old Black usher's loved his kids, would bring them candy, give them favors and my kids would be sitting there looking. I finally stopped going to that church, but I was appalled they treated my kids like they did, it was definitely more than one of them.

I’m from Detroit and I definitely remember this story….That Palmer Park area in the city used to be a rough area, but now they’ve been doing some rebuilding ever since like 2014/2015….

16yrs on a murder charge is pretty light and to think that he could be out after doing half the sentence is appalling,there’s others who got 30 to life and more for the same charges.His crime is even more heinous because of his hypocrisy and deception….but he’s not alone in living a dual life as a member of the clergy,I personally believe that many who are drawn to the pulpit to a large degree are narcissistic and avaricious,so I’m hardly surprised by any other activities they’ll likely to engage in….
