As a former Pastor's Secretary, I can tell you that many Pastor's are talking about themselves in their sermons. It's a way of releasing for themselves. So when they say things like, "You're cheating on your good wife that stood by you with that young girl..." Trust me, he's probably talking about himself.

And if they don't preach fire and brimstone type of sermons, you should ask yourself why you're there. Feel good sermons are nice, but they are not going to save you. I no longer do church but will do bible study.

Because I worked for a very prominent church and pastor, I was immediately entrusted with secrets from other churches secretaries and clergy from across the U.S. and when I tell you the sickness and denial is REAL, please believe me when I tell you I know what I'm talking about. People are having sex in the church, fighting in the sanctuary, pastors being arrested and bailed out of church, pastors having sex with minor girls and mothers are forgiving the pastors and still attending service and paying tithes. I even know about a church that didn't want neighborhood coming inside the church to get Christmas gifts. I cannot tell you why, but I was furious and let it be known. And let's not talk about the money that was supposed to be given to Black people but diverted to white people AT THE REQUEST OF BLACK CHURCH PEOPLE. In other words, the Black people at the church said no don't give us the money give it to them (white people). They didn't want to see their own people win!!!! With very few exceptions, the congregation is really no different from their pastor.

The church tried to set me up with a young lady once. This entire situation is disgusting to me. Not because of the Pastor being with another man. It’s disgusting because he completely disregarded any thought or feeling for his Wife and children. It’s disgusting because instead of being honest about who he is, he chose to put those who love him in a difficult position. He isn’t by himself in the embarrassment, his Wife and children are embarrassed, too. I know the feeling all too well. It would be best for her to move on from him but ultimately, it is her decision. I wish clarity and enlightenment for her. In addition, this is another situation that leads me to believe that some men, really don’t like women, they just get with us to keep up appearances.

Your post made me sad. Growing up, no matter what blessing we would receive, my mother would always say..."Tell tha Lord thank ya." She's passed away and my siblings and I still say it to each other when one of us is blessed. I bust my behind, stayed up all hours of the night studying (and crying over calculus) to get my B.S. degree at age 47. I worked full-time during the day and went to college (on campus) at night. I worked hard and was dedicated but I would still expect my mother to say, "Tell tha Lord thank ya." I know and appreciate it was her prayers that got me through. I'm on my 2nd business and all the blessings I will ever receive will always be a result of my mother's prayers. Glory and honor to God first...always.

He won’t stop, his risks will only grow because he thinks he’s smarter and not impacted by anything that he’s done and has happened thus far.
