08:03 The significance of him celebrating that goal is that he played for Arsenal (the team he scored against in the clip) for many years, even being a fan favourite at some point, and in football (or soccer) players are expected to NOT celebrate when they score against their old teams, as doing it is viewed as incredibly disrespectful to their old fans. If you look up the whole clip, you'll see the guy (Adebayor) even ran accross the whole pitch to the opposite end where the Arsenal fans were seated just to celebrate the goal in their faces, so it was extra dirty lol

Tbh the only reason people think soccer players flop a lot is just because there’s so many of us. Everybody tries to gain an advantage in every sport it’s just the rules that decide what you’ll use to gain an advantage. If there were more major basketball leagues that were televised worldwide you’d see that shit too. Harden flops too and now the NBA even changed the rules to stop him from using his flopping technique. If u ain’t cheating u ain’t trying.
