I just hope, that slipknot has suffered death joey as it was with paul, that they do not take it as something so light, what would paul think if he were still here, and if paul had not died, maybe slipknot I would not have expelled Jordison, since as they say, he was someone who tried to get everyone in the band to get along ;,C I didn't meet slipknot when didn't died paul, but this made me feel awful for that.

Some people say metal bands are evil. That they worship the devil, and kill puppies for fun. Some have even said they're not even humans, and have no emotion. I see these men up here, who shared some violent images during shows, angry lyrics, heavy guitars and drums. They're heartbroken, crying, and feeling alone that their brother passed on. It's been years since they lost him, but I know they still think of him.

@@_CPP_ and even those bands don't sacrifice goats every thursday. They essentially use those satanic imagery and themes as a shock factor. The fact that Joey didn't get the same treatment is disgraceful. He was a founding member and fueled your most prominent years. @IJustFiguredThisOut 19 күн бұрын
He wasn't in the band though for years by that point. I mean I understand where you are coming from, but do you not understand the difference? Paul was an active member of the band and he died. Joey was not a member of Slipknot, for years, when he had died. And you know how Slipknot is famous for keeping the "band drama" of what goes on behind the scene hidden really well? Like we have no idea what happened to Craig, if he quit, got fired, contract dispute, retired for health reasons, or just wanted to retire, we just don't know, Slipknot just doesn't release stuff like that to the public. So believe it or not, when it comes to Joey, he very did likely "leave the band" like they said he did when they released that statement. Joey wasn't blindsided. Joey had issues for years. After Paul's death, and when it was making his playing horrible, and it when they had to cancel entire legs of tours on the All Hope Is Gone tour because of Joey, I am sure they told him he needed to get his act together or he was out of the band, I am sure Joey thought that he couldn't be kicked out of the band because it was his band, and when he didn't get his act together, that was his decision to "leave the band". I hate to say it because he is my drumming idol, but that is what happened.

First time I have seen this. I feel like when I picked up The Gray Chapter, Paul was there when I listened to it. It was a Saturday and after midnight in an empty house. Just me and the music. My life was changed forever. I lost my brother and grandmother the same year Paul died. I lost my job that year also. I think it was the darkest year in my life. I feel like Paul was waking me up out of my 5 year pit of despair and giving me a new purpose in this life. A new focus and mission. I want to be a survivor and Paul Gray and Slipknot have given me strength again. I am still climbing out of the pit, but now I know I am not alone.

Yeah I lost my grandmother this past year. Miss her dearly. and I had never dealt with the loss of a close family member before so I didn't know how to deal with it. But with the help of my friends and my girlfriend, I got through it. They're people I love to death and give my life for. And I think that as long as you're surrounded by people you love and if they love you, then you can get through anything.

I lost it when Sid began to speak... Even if I am a newer Slipknot fan, I'm still attached to all these guys. I feel for Sid the most, and... I'd be absolutely devastated if somebody that close to me died the way Paul did. Sid, if you're reading this (which I doubt you ever will.) then just know that even if you don't know who I am, I feel for you. Best of luck to you and the band. And my condolences for the loss of a friend.

I wish Joey had received this same sort of panel upon his passing last year. He without a doubt deserved it being one of The Pale Ones, like Paul. However, I understand the circumstantial divide that had separated him from The Knot. Just sucks he was basically relegated to a ten minute snippet of clips on Twitter. If there truly is a plane beyond this fabricated fleshy existence of ours, I hope #1 & #2 are together once more, somewhere in the ether. R.I.P.
