While out for a fun day of shopping and vlogging, Rugged Mountain Dad is informed he is not allowed to film in a super secret souvenier shop! In a true passive aggressive fashion, he continues filming the day in such a way to showcase how ridiculous that is!

Hahaha. So saucy! It's always surprising when they don't want free advertising. I usually just walk up to an employee and show my channel so they know I have goid intentions. Beautiful beach. 👍

Ya, that's an idea! There are some scamming tik toks and such out there that just want to cause a problem and then record it for clicks! The beach is always fabulous down there!! Thanks, jason!!! 🤜 🤛

I hear you on the filming deal….I’ve gotten to the point I don’t really enjoy doing it in shops. Crazy because it’s literally free advertising for them basically. Looked and sounded like some relaxing days! Thanks for sharing.

Man I'm glad someone else has had issues with it! I was starting to think it was just me! I KNOW!! Here let me showcase your products and what a wonderful experience i had in your shop!!! "Uhhhh no thanks, just go away!" Other than that, it was relaxing for sure!

I swear that boy has an endless well of Energy LOL. Great vacation Mark. I get saucy about not being able to film as well. I am pretty much giving up on drones because they are gonna keep putting roadblocks up for it. I’ll still use mine here and there but I sold my mini 2 already

Haha wait for the 19th EBE video coming in March... i think i found his limit!! I know! There is a bill in the house right now to completely ban DJI drones... for EVERYBODY not just government work. Even rec flyers! Bunch of dooky!

Yes they are! I'm stubborn enough to keep at it though. If they end up making DJI drones illegal then i may be completely out of luck! Other than getting yelled at for filming, it was a great day!

I love how you added the storyline of your struggles. To be honest one of my favorite videos. From experience when you come in hot to any indoor area with a gimble, professional mics, and multiple cameras you’ll get stopped. Weird thing is you put it away they are cool with a regular cell phone. So for indoor places I just try to blend in with everyone else. And I couldn’t register my DJI Mavic Air so I HAD to upgrade to the DJI mini 3. LOL. KZfaq problems. Have a good weekend guys.

Haha ya that was a great way to liven up the video with little thought put in! Ya i really think it has alot to do with the gimbal... it looks all professional. I usually have a lav mic on too so that doesn't help. Next time I'll ask if i can just record with my phone!! Same issue in the Biltmore, they told me i couldn't record and add i walk through everyone had their phone up taking videos!!! Don't get me started on drones!! We'll have to have another phone call on THAT topic!! Thanks Carl!!

@@DMSAdventures Always up for KZfaq nerd talk. I usually just do it and if they ask for me to put it away I do and then just go on the phone. And if I’m not sure I just use the phone by itself. Folks don’t realize that the free promo is worth so much more. I have visited so many places because of youtube recommendations. A lot!

I haven't got the slightest idea... lawsuits? There are some Tik tok channels that go in the places and record messing with people.. probably a small group ruining it for the rest of us like usual!

Yeah, the 1st Amendment goes both ways. Thought there was a grandfather clause on older drones? I'll have to look into that. Kids had some fun!

"Which Drones Must Comply With Remote ID? FAA site states this..."Drones which are required to be registered or have been registered, including those flown for recreation, business, or public safety, must comply with the rule on Remote ID." So, my Mini doesn't meet the requirement of the rule.

Correct!! But if you're monetized and you use footage on youtube then it IS required to have remote ID even if you are under 250g! You can still fly it around for kicks and giggles and family videos that don't get monetized on a platform. They are really trying to push everyone out of the space! I just heard there is a bill in the house to ban ALL DJI drones in the US!! For ANY use!! It's really irritating!
