Him losing his Aunt when he was 8 had a lifelong affect (?). She told him she would never leave him, she gave him unconditional love. Children don't understand people can pass at anytime and I'm sure she didn't expect to leave so soon. He was obviously upset and missing her and his dad basically tells him to let it go. No support at all....I've seen this episode and I felt for him the first time too. I hope he is doing well.

My heart goes out to this young man. I can't even imagine having a Dad that never said he loved me. I can't imagine not having my mother in my life until I was 14. I see his pain. Wake up parents! Mrs Sandra I can understand very clear. I never had my real parents in my life. My mother past when she born me. My grandfather run my born father away from my life. I never hear grandparents talk about their daughter.no pictures, nothing. I don’t know how my mother loook or where I come from with my real parents. My mother parents adopted me and my sister when we lose my mother. My parents never told me that they love me, until they got sick. I’m not mad because I love my grandparents. My family is a chain when it comes to be mothers to our kids in our family. I didn’t ever know how to be a mother to my own kids because mi lose my born mother and my grandmother never had see her mother again. So yea it was hard for me had a kids. But now my kids love me and I am so blessed for my kids and I love been a mother to my kids now. They know my life story. My kids didn’t real have me or their father either. But now I am all the way in with my boys. My boys are are 21,19,18. I did the best thing for my kids life by allowing them to be kids that I was never able to do when I was their age. My life was so fuck up but I’m amazing woman with my kids. I learned from all my storms with my kids and my parents

Despite the outcome of that not being his son, the mother still in my opinion carried herself pretty well. She wasn’t loud and ratchet. Maybe because she’s naturally soft spoken but even when the “elders” were arguing like kids she didn’t disrespect anyone and I applaud her for that because sometimes emotions can get the best of us

The first show was very good because it’s happening every day in a lot of families. Bernard opened up to Karamo about men be looking for a mother figure in a relationship! I felt he was genuine about giving her some help but she didn’t want to take the DNA test.

All 44 ppl who like this post had to be watching another show. She clearly lied because she was not surprised he was not the dad. She smiled through the whole show and was calm as hell. If she really thought the baby was his she would not immediately had said she knew who the daddy was when asked. She was not ready to let that man go which is why she stalled on taking the test. It was easier to make us believe he was a deadbeat because he has 8. She played on that. His reason for his behavior was clearly shown in this episode.

SOOOOOOOO much to unpack. Bernard is actually not that bad of a guy. Some parenting classes and therapy he should be straight. Bernard's mom is complete trash and needs to take accountability for her own choices. She keeps interjecting herself and takes credit for finally parenting this man. With 8 kids he needs her help but ugggh. and its clear he cant express what he truly feels to her because she's so full of her self. I love the way Karamo spoke to the pain of both the young " parents ". I think the young lady is also hurting and just looking for placement and love . I mean she has 13 siblings and probably did feel seen, heard or loved.

But that ain't nothing, mom has 14 children... what the hell. yeah, she is following in mom's footsteps. She needs to put away that boredom and take responsibility for the five unwanted kids that she has brought into this world. I love Karamo ..❤ I just found this show yesterday- glad I did. It’s the only program I’ve ever seen that actually helps people. Karamo is an angel! ❤he has so much compassion for people- I’ve seen some gross behavior and he’s able to see past that and find the pain. Amazing.

The fact the Mum is focusing on herself, then telling Bernard to grow...Maths is not mathing. All of them need healing because that generational trauma... I also think that positive words to a kid can go a long way. I don't have children but I always try to affirm my niece and nephews, the other kids in my extended family and also the young students I teach. If they're doing wrong, I'll tell them, too.

Well that explains a lot. The daughter is doing what she did and the fella is doing what his mom and dad did. Is there any hope for those children.
