The most insane part to me is the DPotY wasn't on the floor in the most insane defensive effort we've seen in years. The Nuggets now have to make adjustments off of a game in which the opponent had a major piece missing.

I like the idea of the Nuggs turning to defense to get back in the series. Lets win this 83-79 tonight and turn this series into a bloodbath. Get Bruan and Watson in there 25 min a piece n have em use their fouls. Lol. No one can shoot right now except Junior so we may as well have the defense. We gotta fight back at least. Go NUGGS! Jokic is getting too close on MVPs for Shaq's taste. He also thought it was an easy opportunity with the Wolves looking like humiliating the Nuggets. I think if this had been after game 3 Shaq would have been more careful.

Obviously sport media are intentionally stirring this topic because they need something to talk. But specifically TNT needs it because they might not get the future broadcast right in coming negotiations, meaning TNT would be done for NBA and Shaq is done for TNT.

TNT doesn't need it to help in the negotiations anymore. Everyone knows what they have, fake drama will do nothing. They already made their bed when they let their exclusivity period end without making an offer and now can be outbid by many groups. Does TNT even have those drama shoes on ESPN and Fox sports?

He is also creating unnecessary publicity by his childish refusal to properly apologize for throwing articles on the court during play. Umm he can't possibly believe he is innocent ? My fear is he comes out tonight trying to silence the boos by throwing up even more bad shots than usual. Take away those 2 game enders he has had a miserable playoff. I have beem a Jamal fan for 7 or 8 years but combining this me me atitude with the guaranteed 15-20 games he will miss annually is not a good package. Never thought I'd say this, but I am thankful MPJ gave us a full season. Thanks to mgmt playing the salary cap horribly, we have no bench or the money to acquire one.

@michaelfeinberg507 talk about emotionally incontinent. Did he kick your dog ? And how would you have played the salary cap? You do know there's aprons right? You do know that Nugs couldn't offer Bryce more than 9mil not because of cap but another rule? Add up the 4 starters salaries, then factor in KCP new deal and how much you got left? That's why the team relies on young players. There's little leeway. So go ahead genius, share with us what they did wrong. Just wipe those tears first...

Shaq lives in his own world of double standards. Back in the day, Shaq and Kobe did a 1-on-1 interview with each other where Kobe and Shaq said their beef was over Shaq's lack of effort, especially in the off-season. And Shaq knew it then. Now that Jokic is on his way to outdo Shaq in his accomplishments when Joker hangs it up, Shaq is butt hurt his legacy is threatened as the most dominant big man.

Problem with Shaq best described Kobe. Shaq could have been the goat if he did 100 perc. He could had 7,8 rings and 5,6 mvp if he did 100 perc during his carier. Shaq was great, but when you know you didnt gave 100 perc it hurts.... Jok didnt pass Shaq he needs to get more rings, but what Jok did last 4 season is off the charts and he deserve all prizes.

It seems like everyone was pretty chill and fair about the MVP compared to last year - then everyone off the deep end when it was announced. I follow sports chat, but this really caught me off guard. Bizarre. In some way it’s v prisoner of the moment: SGA had a great game; Jokic had his two worst games in the last several years of playoffs. If Nuggees were beating the Wolves, I think the convo is v different.
