Math mammoth is more straight to the point math. We didn’t use math mammoth for the younger grades, but when we used it for my older daughter grade 4 and 5, it was very no fluff. Apologia math has activities and games before almost every lesson. It’s more hands on and colorful. I feel they both do a great job at teaching math concepts in multiple ways so every kids can find their favorite way of doing it. Also while math mammoth is very mastery based, Apologia has some spiral review in the lessons. Both are solid curriculums it’s just more what fits best with your kid and what they like. If they like activities and games then I would go with Apologia but if they like a more to the point math without the activities go with math mammoth. I hope this helps!

I’m crossed between math with confidence or apologia and originally was recommended Singapore dimensions for my twin autistic kids. I feel that dimensions looks a bit busy and lengthy from what videos I’ve seen. Math with confidence simpler, but yet this is like a medium of the two and I was trying to see the science involved, pictures or projects? They are very animal hard lovers and science in general is kinda a thing.
