This was meant to be a short but in typical me fashion I talked too long. Let me know a time when you felt dumb in your program or education and how did you overcome that?

Going through it right now😢 straight As first semester but this next pharm exam coming up I can’t seem to memorize to save my life.. made charts, questions, read the PowerPoints.. did Brainscape flashcards and oh man.. even if I do memorize it long enough to pass this exam, I am so nervous it will be out my head by the time clinical starts.. exam is covering induction drugs, opioid agonists and antagonists, neural-axial, and multimodal.. FML.. thanks for the videos.. been watching you since you were a student

You're truly an inspiration. I felt like I never had to study much in nursing school to pass my exams and now that I'm an RN, I feel so limited in my scope of practice. Since I found your videos, you have given me hope that I can achieve more in my field and do something I am really passionate about. I am honestly scared and intimidated by the process to become a CRNA but I'll never forgive myself if I don't try. Sometimes self doubt makes me feel like I'm not good enough, but I really appreciate your videos. Thanks for your encouraging words.

I appreciate your video , I have been an ED nurse for 4 years and I found a program that will accept my experience my GPA is 3.6 and I intend on getting things together to hopefully start in Summer 2026. I just started the application for HPSP with Air Force and I am honestly worried that not being an ICU nurse will be a disadvantage for me. I have watched your other videos and will get the make it stick book, and the Medical one which I believe you recommended on one of your videos ( lol sorry watched a lot of videos). Thanks again for tour transparency

I have high functioning autism and studying happens to be one of my special interests/talents lol!! I love studying because I can’t just memorize stuff, I need to understand how everything happens. Will studying at this level during nursing school, prereqs, and a couple grad classes after nursing school help me? I know CRNA school is extremely difficult and nothing can prepare you for it. But can taking classes prepare you at least a tiny bit? For the CRNA courseload I mean.

i'm low support needs autistic and i am about to go to CRNA school in May. how far along are you in the process? I don't want to discourage you from your dreams but I want to prepare you. Studying is also one of my intense interests and I have always done well in school. However, being an ICU nurse (which you have to do for about 2 years before CRNA school starts) with autism has been extremely difficult in many aspects. I am able to mask and function well at work and the job itself is exciting. But it takes so much energy to communicate with dying patients and their family members that sometimes I don't have energy for anything else for the rest of the week, and then I have to work again. Add to that the regular work politics and gossip that you have to decipher at any job. Sensory issues (if you have any) may include the various scents of things that come out of the human body and the unending alarms in the ICU. Again, this is not to discourage you but rather to prepare you for what's to come. I made it through and survived, after all. I hope if you are considering this career path you are considering everything it takes to get there. Maybe you don't mind talking to patients and families in crisis or dealing with complex work relationships, and you are hyposensitive to stimuli. If so, you will definitely do well!

Hi, but if you drop below a "B" you are out????????

Typically yes. Most programs have a no C rule in any core anesthesia course. It results in immediate removal from the course with no second chances.

My program allows for 2 Cs throughout the program but you cannot have below a B average
