Actually it’s super simple. Got ADD and like crazy, ER. OCD and kinda boring ICU. Jp….

Hello Bolt, do you know if Florida, specifically Tampa, does not have State Income Tax so it doesn't have to be paid as a 1099 CRNA?

The money is nice, sure, but not if you're crap at doing the work. It's not fair to patients that they get a raggedy MD, nurse, or whatever because they've worked over 40 hours that week and are wading through mental oatmeal just to get through it.

Great info!! I could handle the stress of CRNA school, I have always wanted to be a CRNA ever since I was a kid, it’s where my heart is, I really enjoy donating to the CRNA Foundation, since it was hard for me to go to college because of my cerebral palsy, I really wanted to be a CRNA, it takes a special person and skills to be a CRNA and you’re one of them! I checked out the all electronic BMW i7 last Saturday, I really like it, I’m gonna save up for it and get it and let others drive it for me because I can’t drive because of my cerebral palsy, it has a crystal shifter, and a lot of crystals, check it out when you have time! You rock man

I have taken all the sciences and stats for BSN, all As and one B. I graduated in 2014. The crna school I am looking at wants the classes retaken or "refresher"- highly recommend. Due to being older than 10 years. 6 total courses. Are you aware of any bundled refresher type courses or do the schools expect you to retake all the original pre-requisites with the pre nursing school students?

I’m interested in crna but I am scared to bear the risk of having someone’s life in my hands. Being a nurse you bear the same risk but not on the same level at all.
@BoltCRNAАй бұрын
This is completely normal. I think all of us felt that way in the beginning.

A healthy amount of anxiety is good. It means you understand the gravity of your position. I’m a Paramedic starting my Nursing journey to become a CRNA, and I had the same feeling when I jumped from EMT to Paramedic. Ultimately a quality program will teach you all the skills and knowledge you need to be a confident provider. At the end of the day your goal is to take pride in the care you provide and know that the life in your hands is well protected because of the work you’ve put in throughout your healthcare journey. You’ve got this! Take the leap!

@BoltCRNA I mean, is it? Every semester, school just keeps getting more expensive. Then again, I am getting ready to go back to school and start a 9 year journey to become a vet. I am currently a cna, and I was before debating if I was gonna go into a nursing career vs. a vet career. I knew I wanted to be a vet since I was a little kid. Up until I started high school, I had a teacher crush my dreams and told me you would never become a vet and that you should choose another job. So my backup was culinary. What I wish I honestly wish I never went into. School was a blast, but working quickly became a burn. After 2 years, I wanted to go into medical, and I had to fight with my mom, who is a nurse, to give it a shot. I did a pca program and found out that I loved being an unlicensed cna. So I got my license and for a while I wasn't sure with Path I was gonna follow but either way I put plans together for both roads just in chase. If I was gonna go to nursing school, my end goal was to become a flight nurse. If I was gonna switch to animals, I would begin as a vet tech. Then work as a vetec and Immediate put myself back into school to get my vet license. Either way I would be a nurse tho lol.

Your channel just came up. Been following you from the beginning and now have a daughter who is a crna in Florida! Your channel was such a huge help and can’t thank you enough! We came from Del Mar near San Diego and went East. She also went to school in Tennessee. Loved it there. Maybe you’ll come back one day. BTW: she loves the work and colleagues . Maybe you can do some videos on your independent practice.

I know this video has been 4 years ago and I wish you well. I'm an ER nurse in transition to being shifted to PICU and I got interested in the title of your video. Came to the part where you said ED nurses Doesn't CARE about data's, stool info, last meal and so on and so forth but it's just we have too much in our hands and we're pressed on time but yes we do care. It hurted my ER heart but yeah I'm gonna be transferred to critical care soon.
