I definitely do not deal with these issues on the same level as a CRNA, however being able to put someone at ease about taking their life into my hands after just meeting them is something that really resonated with me. I do this all day everyday in the cath lab. It's procedural and they get the "you could die" talk from the cardiologist then I take them away and they ask me "are you my anesthesiologist?" So i have to answer that and with a no and still make them feel safe, I find often times moderate sedation can be close to a MAC from a crna. I know technically I'm not allowed to say that but when I am sedating during the case it's all feels very similar.

This was extremely helpful for me. I've just spent two weeks trying to figure out a way to articulate my "why" (well, a year actually, but two weeks of intensely trying to get it to sound intelligible) and listening to your thoughts and advice on it made all the difference. Thanks, man!

Very good info! I enjoy donating to the CRNA Foundation, since it was hard for me to go to college to be a CRNA after I graduated in 08 because of my cerebral palsy! I love your new socks! Do your feet smell? lol! You rock man! My OR tour is tomorrow since I donate to the CRNA Foundation! I’m excited

@@BoltCRNA ok my OR went great last Thursday, I really enjoyed it! I learned a lot from the CRNA, she was awesome! They said I can come back anytime! I really enjoy donating to the CRNA Foundation, since it was hard for me to go to college because of my cerebral palsy! I’m 32

Hey Bolt, I have watched your videos over the years. Thank you for the channel. I am actively applying to CRNA schools but I wanted to see if you could speak about being a nurse (staff) in San Francisco versus CRNA.
