That is the only reason we re-introduced the topic and clarified how we want to move forward. We actually contemplated whether we would bring it up or not but I think it was necessary because some people do feel as though we shouldn’t say things they adamantly disagree with but that would be impossible.

Hopefully this opens up an avenue that they continue to think about. They discussed earlier in the episode that their life journeys brought them to realize that they are things they need to unlearn when it came to homophobia. Maybe conversations will continue to take place that will illustrate how the "fast girls" perpetuates this idea that young black girls are overly sexual and are deserving of abuse/being seen unworthy. I get that its hard for creators to like it when it feels like everyone is attacking them or criticizing them but maybe when the emotions die down it's a learning moment. Could you help me understand. As a person that was not triggered, I could not understand the correlation between the instance with the little girl sliding in the DMs and children that are victims of sexual abuse. I personally felt like the two are completely different and bringing child abuse into the conversation about an eleven year old girl sending DMs with adult conversation was a far reach. Since you were a triggered person, can you explain why those two things aligned?

Marriage ain't for everybody. Everybody treats marriage like its a goal. It shouldn't be. If you have a great marriage and spouse cool but its not the reality. 50% of them end in divorce. That should tell you something

@@Dud512 of course. I just know for myself marriage is something I want. If a man can give me the title of girlfriend then he can give me the title of wife. I think that expectations change with each role. I don’t treat a boyfriend like a husband and I shouldn’t because there isn’t the same expectation. Marriage includes finances, lifetime goals, healthcare coverage and many more that simply being a girlfriend doesn’t include. It doesn’t have to be for everyone but it is for me and I make that clear with whoever I date so there is no confusion.
