Brilliant advice again Susan! Edna says she is happy? Remain that way I would say. Being single, the 'grass may appear greener,' but don't fall for it. The exception is any type of abuse. My ex did this. Turns out she had Borderline PD tendencies. The need to explore, forbidden adventure, living out unfulfilled fantasies, impulsivity, and a focus on sex...with you excluded. If she's also looking at shirtless men on Instagram - men who look and are built nothing like you. She starts to complain about being bored or needing more "me" time and is irritable with you without communicating why even though you are still being consistent with being the partner she (supposedly and willingly) "fell in love with". You become a people pleaser because eventually what you do is not enough anymore. Finally, when you stand your ground and start to assert that YOU have needs also, the mask falls off. In this case, cut your losses.

I think this is common, but being married shouldn't stop you to experience new things. But once married does require respecting your spouse.

My interpretation was that it had to do with sexuality. All of which can be explored with your existing partner in a safe context. But I think what she fails to see is that most singles are only experiencing trying to get partnered!! And as I can see from all the commentaries on this channel, that's not an easy task nowadays However, if she's simply meant being single and free, the answer could be to develop more of an independent life; hobbies, adventures, trips, etc.

Means that there’s people that got together young (like high school sweethearts) that never experienced dating other people or what it’s like to be a solo flyer after leaving home👉makes people feel like they’ve missed out on experiences they’ll never have…..as for experiencing this while in a fully committed relationship 👉that’s playing dangerously bc we certainly can love more than one person, if we should ever open that door!

Question - If you're being ghosted or breadcrumbed is there any merit in just blocking them, particularly if you cannot move on and you're waiting for them to change their mind? I've been left on read and I just want to cut everything off. It is not fair that I am in limbo and uncertain of what is going on and he knows what is going on but won't tell me. I want to take control of the reins, not leave it in their hands but I cannot do that while he is still contactable. Should I block?

Move on and blocked them. I ghosted a woman I was dating for 9 months due to cheating. Her other boyfriend followed her and confronted me when we left the cinema. He showed me timestamps footage of them being intimate the day before because I didn’t believe him. He came up with this elaborate plan to both confront her while she was on a date with him the next day. I showed up and as I was walking up, I abruptly stopped and decided that cheaters shouldn’t be honored with a conversation or closure. I left and disappeared from her existence, I’ll let him confront her on his own.

Candy girl there is a lot of maintenance in keeping the relationship. There's a lot of excitement that could be found within the existing relationship. As a matter fact, I'm going to talk about it on the LiveShow today. People assume that once you get a partner, that's it. But appreciation, joint growth, and ongoing new adventures keep the relationship together.

Oh boy, not true. Having been with someone for a whole 14 years, five of those married, I would say it’s quite the opposite. Maintenance , as Susan says, is necessary.

I think it is interesting to think that there's a huge difference of what type of experiences, trauma, habits, attitude, maturity between people who chose to be single for 10 years from age 20-30 vs. Those who chose marriage for those years. I think being single is much scarier and with even much more missed opportunities.

I've been single for decades and I love it. I like being in control and having freedom. I don't have to compromise and consider anyone else.
