Other artists ask me a lot about if their tools and materials need to be expensive, and my answer is always, "No! Not always--it depends." Especially if you're just starting out with something--experimenting is crucial. Here is my hard and fast rule for myself about the initial experimenting stage: protect your headspace and bring down any stress about it. Using inexpensive but quality products and tools is not only acceptable, but desirable. In some cases, I continue to use those products indefinitely.
This is my favorable review of the Artify 9 pc. Floral Brush Set. Here is my Amazon affiliate link if you'd like to check them out: amzn.to/4aXBQxW
I found these brushes to be really good and varied, organized in a case well with a lot of help understanding the kinds of brushes included, and they delivered color and water really well too. The only thing I can't speak to is longevity of them because I haven't used them long at all, but they will definitely stay in my regular lineup of go-to brushes.
