I would like to know what role medication for MDD play in disability increases? If a person is better while taking medication, and the extremes of depression/anxiety do not seem to be as severe while on a working medication, does VA perceive a veteran to then not be as disabled? For me, and others may be the same, it is a constant struggle to be on the right medication and dose, since I can definitely tell when medication is not working as well, and I can get to a dark place very quickly. Also, what is the best way to contact H&P for a consult, to see if they believe a disability increase and VA claim is in the best interest of a veteran?

My Fiduciary works for a family elder care, and she constantly refuses to add money to my debit card. She covertly tries to emotionally blackmail me and provokes me to get angry or loose my cool.

Look i got slapped with a fiduciary lasy year may 2020. I have been 100 % since 2013 and did 4 tours, 9 yrs in and all of a sudden i got that lettet. My field examiner is crazy, he won't even recognize the issue. I am forced with reprisal if i inquire about my funds, im married and have 3 kids who aren't currently with me. I was told by the fiduciary Hub that I am to live no differently than a veteran who doesn't have a fiduciary, my current fid wanted to try conserving me to not get deported! I have a crazy ' family' friend doing it who doesn't pay me, steals my money and refuses to honor my wishes. Im a 100% P&T and I absolutely cannot believe that this is allowed to happen. I have a TBI and PTSD....i went to VA for competency letter and they said "we can't help you"....this program is a scandal! I only agreed because I was told by a different field examiner that it's short term and like having an accountant. Horrible that combat injured veterans can literally be stolen from, ripped off ect...i hate this system. Sorry for the long rant but this is so worrisome. I have a lot saved supposedly but am not allowed to purchase a vehicle, get an apartment, or even afford to buy basic needs. Where are the advocates??

i been in the program since 2019 had no problems i had no problem in getting what i asked for you can sue your feduicary alongg iwth the va am trying to find a phycologist that can conduct a compepetnecy exam if found not to be incompentent you can submit the evidence to the va feduiciary hub and it will go to the intake center the va has to honor the report and no it dose not have to be a va dr whom turn down my request however if found not be incompent and the va denies you to taken out of the feduciary proogram then you have grounds for a law suit

This is very informative. I wish I would have known this before the VA put my family member as my fiduciary. For years funds spent and no recourse to fix the situation. Hopefully other Veterans never have to go through a fiduciary.

They have done that to me. No exam , nothing and I can't get anyone to help me dispute it. I need legal IMMEDIATLY before I go psychotic . The did this out of revenge because 8 reported them for negligence when I was sick. Now the same doc sent a letter saying I have 2 leaking valves . And see me back in 3 years for a checkup . What???

you can sue the person on the grounds of fraud ie if a spouse is using the money for her intertest ie making out loans to friends and family knowing if she is not working or works and spending money like a wild fire out of control you have grounds for a law suit now she can pay the rent buy clothes for you puting food on the tabel paying the utility bills take trips together or making a car repair of course recipts must b shown

I can't get anyone to pay me my monthly stipend. My Fiduciary has plenty of money in my account but I can't get $1,000 to buy groceries, gas or anything else. I've called my Fiduciary 3 times this month but the person in charge of my money won't talk to me. I was only told checks were mailed late this month. Since it's the 10th, I'm wondering when. I've called the VA Fiduciary program 4 times and left messages with the guy in charge of my Fiduciary but he hasn't called me back from March when I told him I needed a new car. Am I supposed to call my Senators and Congressmen to get money for groceries? My Fiduciary started out with overdraft fees I had to cover, my utilities shut off and mailed me checks unsigned that I couldn't cash so there is no trust there. They refuse to let me have direct deposit even though they know I can't drive.

Ok, I am Fiduciary for my father, he has back pay coming back to 12/2022 can I re pay all the bills incurred back to that date, like rent room and board? My representative says no? Doesn’t sound right. I understand not going back before claim was approved

What happens after you’ve been deemed competent after being in the Feudiciary program for years will they change my rating eve though I am 100 P and T and 100 from the army

El Va nos hizo esto, diagnósticaron a mi esposo con demencia , pero no lo han diagnósticado el por qué hace 6 años el no camina . ya no le mandaron su 100% desabilite cheque,mi esposo no está de acuerdo.el no tiene demencia.

My name is Garrett, I have been labeled as incompetent. You know what I think? I think it's not about being Incompetent. It's all about making me wait for the line of men and women that had to go somewhere under their freewill .To fight their agenda. I payed my dues as a soldier. I didn't stay home and watch it on TV . I was very much there. Now because I am getting smarter in my so called, old age .I seem to be not good enough to get what I deserve. Incompetent, I paid my does for fighting for my country , Moore. I feel cheated for something I laid my life down.

@@HillAndPonton How can you force your Fiduciary to give you money every month for living expenses? Mine refuses to give me direct deposit because they don't trust their bank, is what I was told. Since I don't drive, I have to get someone to take me but don't know anyone locally.

This is a giant f*ck you to the veteran. I dont know how theyre getting away with this. Im 100 percent p and t but i dont have a fiduciary. You guys need to tell your doctor to stay out of your financial business. Psychiatrists have to much power
