Hey there Xaczin, this depends on your country and institute. Make sure you refer the Required Documents section in WES website and understand what is relevant to you. The link is available in the description box.

QUESTIONS; Few days ago my School sent my transcripts to WES without my Academic Record request form, which I discovered I will need to fill it and my institution need to fill their portion. (1) Will this error render the whole process null and void? (2)Should I need to send Academic Record request form after the School has sent my transcripts? I'm not sure about the individual university, you can call up the university to know this. In case the university does not send the transcript by themself, send the transcript through a post office which is within the campus of the university. And most importantly, from address should be university address with no mention of your son's name (only his WES ID). This should avoid any rejection.

Do we need to add Bachelor of Commerce & Laws both? Or Latest LLB only? I don't see 3 year option in Wes free tool evaluation 🙄

I'm honestly not sure about the answer to that. But, as a rule of thumb, I'd say you can add just the latest degree only if you're 100% sure you'll get a Master equivalency.. If not, better add all your degrees, so that, worst case scenario, you'd get 2 or more degrees equivalency. Hope my answer has given clarity to you. All the best :)

Hi Adeel.. Yes, attested copies of your marksheet are considered as transcripts. The marksheets needs to be attested by the examiner. For this, you need to approach your university. Also, check what the Required documents section in the WES site says for you. Your university might need to send your transcripts by themselves. In that case, you can approach your university to send on your behalf. If that's not possible, you can send from the university post office to WES. Hi i have done my degree transcripts of two sets and both the sets are kept under one sealed envelope( by the university) is this fine to send WES or do i need to send them only one copy in a sealed cover

If you mean 2 copies of the same transcript, it shouldn't be a problem to send both if the universities has already sealed the envelope. If they haven't sealed the envelope, you can take out one of the copies for your own references and send the other alone.

But wouldn't it create a delay, like one envelope might reach early and other might get delayed? Also wes on its website has mentioned that we can send multiple degrees in one envelope itself. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ah, sorry for the confusion.. If this is about degrees, you can directly upload it to your WES profile. No need to send them a hard copy. What I told is meant for transcripts.

Actually I meant transcripts only, so in my case, one university is at aurangabad and other one is in pune.cant I send both the transcripts from either of university campus post office with both transcripts sealed in single envelope?

Technically speaking, you just can't send your transcripts on your own at all. It's your university who has to send your transcripts. In case your university does not have the facility to send transcripts on their own, this video has given the workaround for that so that WES thinks that it is your university who has sent the transcripts. If you send 2 university transcripts in the same envelope, they'll know for sure that your university did not send the transcript and reject your application. If you do not want your application to be rejected, send your transcripts seperately.

I had a question, can the documents attested and sealed by university before 6 months be sent to WES or would that be a problem . I got it done before COVID and couldnt send it , So now should i get it done again or the same sealed document will work?

Do we need to put the academic request from in transcript envelope or the bigger envelope??

Hi Anchal, Academic request form is totally optional and not needed. If your university has provided a sealed envelope, do not include academic request form. Send the envelope to WES as is from the university post office. If your university provided unsealed envelope, you can include the academic request form within the same envelope. There's no time limit as such.. Send it when you can.. Your application will not be closed until you send..

Thanks for the information. I just have a quick question ? I completed my Masters of Science degree (2yr program) in uppsala university, Sweden. If i check that in the WES by using degree equivalency tool, i am unable to check because of the issue while selecting the number of years studied. Hi I have 2 transcripts I got them after my graduation in 2015 . I have it 2 University stamped logo envelopes along with stamp back side . Am confused that can I send the transcript of old date attestation and stamped . This will help me alot .

Attestation date should not matter. If this is an Indian University, make sure you send it from a post office within your university. Hope that helps :)

They just gave me 2 transcript as per records it was stamped signed and dated below is tht enough to send els can a take photocopies of my original marksheets get attested from university and send both In a same envelope from university postal area ??? Ah.. Now I understood.. Better apply again for attestation (take photocopies and get sign) and send from university postal code. It might seem fishy to WES if university is sending transcripts which were signed years ago.

We recommend doing it with the help of your family members.. Third party transcript services are available, but not sure if they'll be careful/follow the instructions laid out in the video.. University of Madras does not send transcripts on their own, whoever you arrange needs to send from the post office within the University..

@@Notsopunjabi I just uploaded my degree certificate and , transcript is sent by my university. If degree certificate is nt there thn u can upload provisional... If u have any doubts and want to connect with Wes, best way is message them on twitter. They respond within 24 hours. And they are very professional in clearing doubts

I have question here, I have studied from Gujarat University and they don't issue Transcript. Instead they are asking us to approach collage for issue Transcript and then Come back so University. University will verify it, sign and stamp on it. I am worried since Transcript is now on Collage letterhead instead of University Letterhead and this might lead to rejection of my application in WES. Will that be ok if i just verified my marksheet & Degree certificate from University and send to WES. Will they WES accept it? Just want to double check.

Hi Pankaj.. We faced a similar issue where we had to get transcript from college and send it from University... We didn't face any issue.. What your university suggests will work.. Just make sure you send the transcript from the post office within the University

Hey! Rakesh Mine also same 3 years B.com + 2 years MBA from Osmania University. Is your ECA over? From which body did you choose I means IQAS , CES or WES? Did they gave MBA as Masters Equivalency? How much time it took for total process? In how many days you got your ECA done?

you have to photocopy, attested by Minister of Foreign Affair of your country, then courier it with original transcript

Estimated total population in India amounted to approximately 1.38 billion people. India has approximately more than 1000 universities both public and private recognized by UGC. My University is not listed in WES degree equivalency tool and as per one KZfaq video if university is not listed in WES the evaluation report would be negative. Can you suggest? applications.wes.org/ca/degree-equivalency-tool/poe.asp Master's degree from India in less than 3 years may not be recognized as Master's Equivalent in Canada. From past 20 years in India majorly MBA are of two years now please suggest where should be evaluate digress for better ECA score. Also I have doubt about whether after engineering degree can we only evaluate MBA as WES said higher degree would be enough.

As far as Indian MBA is concerned, there's always a risk of it not being evaluated as Master's. You can research and try getting ECA from IQAS. As for whether you can send only MBA to WES, I'd advise against it, since if you send your Bachelor + MBA, even if you don't get Master's equivalency, you'll atleast get Degree + Diploma which will be better than just a Diploma evaluation. I believe you are familiar with Anna university....any idea if we ask university to send documents, will they mention Wes reference number on all documents? As I read somewhere Wes reference to be mentioned on all documents. 2. My name in passport is Arunkumar Devarajan and degree documents/ marksheets has my name as Arunkumar D...how I should register credentials in Wes website as per passport or as per academics?

#Choosecanada Hello. My university has sent the transcript on 14 feb as I have confirmed with them but still wes says they have not received the docs. Can you please suggest what should i do. I really need help. Also i have mailed as well as contacted wes on twitter but still no response.
