I know this video is over a year old but 3 weeks ago I just started learning card handling for magic tricks. I grabbed the only 2 decks my local CVS had. One Tally-Ho and a deck of Aviators. I’m starting from scratch with The Royal Road to Magic cuz I don’t know squat about handling cards. While doing this the one thing I’ve been working on in addition to the book is the dribble. It’s taken me 3 weeks and finally today it started to come together. To my surprise I’m able to do it with the stiffer more plasticky Aviators also. I still only have 2 decks and as a novice I doubt the “fancy”cards would help in my performance in any way. Thanks for the videos, learning a lot from them.

Difficulty comes when standard decks get sold in price of the premium ones and further when dollar rate is higher than your countries currency ,tally ho here cost around $8 +shipping(2$) The hardest move I learnt was definitely classic pass but I like turnover more after pandreas tutorial

I know the giveaway is long gone but by far the hardest thing for me is farro shuffling it's something that I really struggle with, and I still haven't managed to get it perfect consistently. In the future my goal is perfect table farros but I've got a lot of practice and I'm sure I'll burn through a ton of standard decks trying to get it down to a level that I'm satisfied with lol. The only real preference I've discovered with decks that I like is that I highly prefer traditional cut vs the modern cut. Atheistically I like the red rider back vs the blue. In my opinion having a flashy deck just raises people's suspensions of a gimmick deck.

Hey another great video! As a Portuguese I do say that bicicles are definitly not "normal" cards. In here they cost like close to 5€ (6$), and the cards you can easily get your hands on are really low quality, I mean 50 cent at the flea market quality. Well as of my most difficult sleight I think it would be snap deal by the grat Lennart Green... well not sure if most difficult or knackiest XD

Me watching this video using my own A4 traditionly cut paper cards with deodorant magic finish. Yes I can do it I can become a good magician( confidance builds up).

If you're into cardistry, get some nice decks. If your doing tricks just go Rider and Tally Ho - pulling out flashy cards already made the person suspicious/ or expect too much. Even the Masters abide to this. Better to down play. Collecting cards is fine as well, if that's your thing. I love my battered cards still!! Not good for flourishes, but they tell my story. ♣️♦️🎩♥️
