I am on Compound Tirzepatide 7.5. July will be 3 months at 7.5. I am going to stay at 7.5 for as long as I can. Some days I get fatigued easily but haven't had much of the other side effects. I do struggle with drinking water. I started my journey March 22, 2024. I am down 31 pounds so far. Love seeing Kevin. Thank you Ally for your videos. You are very much appreciated.

I'm on 12.5mg, box 2. Compared to 10mg, I have more constipation, but the suppression is not any stronger. I am Type 2, so maybe things are different for me. I've never felt 'strong' suppression. It's been 39 weeks. I'm going to stay on 12.5 as long as possible. I love Kevin ❤️

Try either Mag O7, or Magnesium it will help with constipation.

Really wrestled with going from 5 to 7.5 two weeks ago. I did find the appetite suppression was really only good for about a day and a half at 6 weeks on 5mg, and then I was waking up hungry the rest of the week so that’s what made my decision. 7.5 almost feels like too much suppression, but I’m just gonna hang in there and I’ll go backwards if I need to next order.

I was on Zepbound and now Compounded Tirzepatide 2.5 for 8 weeks and 5 for 12 weeks. Total 20 weeks lost about 22 lbs but for my last 10 lbs I just ordered 7.5 because the food noise has been coming back and I haven’t been tracking what I have been eating. So this is a journey and once I reach goal I will work to start Titrating down again to a maintenance dose that is good for me. Just me…

Thank you once again, this video came out right on time for me, today I am titrating from 2.5 to 5.0, I am hoping for longer appetite suppression, I have had minimal side effects on 2.5 for 4 weeks, and down around 8 pounds,just added movement(Peloton dupe bike) about a week ago.

Much more appetite suppression at a higher dose. I was on 7.5 mg for 4 months and the last 3 months been on 10 mg. I am soon going to 12.5 mg.

I could make excuses, but the scale does not lie, I am eating too much. Deep breath, I am going to try harder because without weight loss, I lose motivation. I want to lose weight so freaking much.

I've been on 1mg Wegovy since December and now I have to move up to 1.7mg and I'm nervous about it. I think it won't be as bad as going from .5 to 1mg though because I'm prepared with how to manage side effects with my trusty Zofran stash :D
@pinonnut2 ай бұрын
Hmmmm I never heard of that until I looked it up, that’s pretty cool.
@GuidoLokoАй бұрын
I think everyone should be given an Rx for Zofran that’s on these meds! It helps immensely! My Dr stopped filling mine 🙄 It really pissed me off, I didn’t even bother reaching out to her to ask Why…. I just went a different route to get them lol

I’m doing a semaglutide compound. I never see comments that anyone else is taking this GLP-1. Anyway I just started my 2.4 (highest dose) yesterday. Had stayed on 1.7 for 2 months, probably should have stayed on that as my appetite is low. My goal is 10 more pounds and my weight is stalling. Although my clothes get bigger. Strength training building muscle so I’m not a fan of the scale to get accurate information. BTW the only side affects I’ve had is constipation and needing a nap. I’m 69 🤷♀️

I have heard that you should stay at the same dose as long as you are losing weight and your increase in appetite is manageable. If you stop losing weight plus notice a significant increase in cravings, then it might be time to move up a dose.

I don’t have a Kevin but I do have a Beansaurus Rex. She is a standard poodle and is quite slim with her summer cut. She earned that name because she was a bitey puppy. I was on 2.5 for the 1st 10 weeks and did really well. My weight loss was still very good but there was less appetite suppression and my fasting glucose level was rising again. So i titrated up and I swear i had all the side effects. Nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, insomnia, headaches. I was pretty miserable and my doctor ‘okayed’ splitting the dose to 2.5 twice a week. The appetite suppression is definitely less with splitting my dose but it was worth it to have less side effects. Now I feel ready to go back to once a week at the 5.0. I liked the convenience of one shot a week and it is more consistent on what to expect side effects wise throughout the week. I can only hope that i can remain on the 5.0 as long as you have. Fingers crossed!!!

The 2.5 -> 5 jump seems to be the most challenging one. Because the dose DOUBLES, yo. No other dose-jump for Mounjaro/Zepbound is like that. 🤕
@mrs.fussaplenty3952 ай бұрын
@@cloakster Yeah. That jump seems pretty rough for a lot of folks. I’m curious how many that followed the recommended 5th week mark tried to titrate up and then quit. If i hadn’t lost weight on the 2.5, I would have packed my bags and left GLP1 meds.
@cloakster2 ай бұрын
@@mrs.fussaplenty395 Yup, and I bet that happens to LOTS of ppl. They hear that the 2.5 is ‘not a therapeutic dose’ (who CARES, as long as you’re losing weight on it), they blow past it in just one month and go to the 5… and then get clobbered by side effects and give up on the meds entirely. 😢 It’s so very avoidable too. Lilly really should come out with a 3.75mg in-between dose or similar. I know Ozempic/Wegovy has a number of ‘doubling the dose’ jumps too, but they are significantly weaker meds than MJ/Zep, and thus can ‘get away with it’ a bit more. (And many ppl STILL don’t like the big Oz/Weg jumps even so. 😞)
@AmyBaunach2 ай бұрын
I also wonder if as you lose weight, your body doesn’t need as high of a dose. I have read where people actually went down in dose if the higher doses were too many side effects and they did great on the lower dose. It makes sense to not need a stronger dose at a lower weight.
@cloakster2 ай бұрын
It’d be nice… but it doesn’t seem to work that way for the majority. Biologically speaking, your body tends to ‘fight back’ against any significant weight-loss (it thinks you’re starving, and is trying to ‘save’ you). It does so two main ways: It increases your hunger, and it slows your metabolism. And, the MORE weight you lose, the HARDER it fights back. 😯 So this would seem to speak to eventually needing HIGHER doses as you lose more and more weight, not less. 🤔 Though I could see a scenario where, in the course of one’s GLP-1 journey, a person has gotten their lifestyle changes very on-point… such that they may not need the meds quite as much as they originally did. And thus could go down on dose somewhat for maintenance, once they’ve reached their goal weight/body-composition. 🌟 But that’s my take from what I know, and YMMV. And I can see how it’d be more attractive if it somehow worked differently from that. Ppl tend to be wary of high doses of ANYTHING, and not without reason.

If it’s working, you could always split the dose… Put the extra in the fridge for when there is a shortage, and there will be one… that being said when I went to five, it wasn’t as bad as I feared, and my appetite suppression was better again
@wunwun55762 ай бұрын
