What does the maple neck feel like on this semi-hollow guitar? I've heard it can feel a bit scratchy especially when bending.

Hey Philip, Honestly the neck feels great on this guitar! There's a couple things you might want to do with the guitar when you get it. The Frets on the guitar itself have not been polished so the frets themselves can feel scratchy when doing bends but this will go away as you play the guitar and the frets begin to wear in. Or, you can take some 0000 grade steel wool and polish the frets when you do a string change. The other thing is that the guitar has a Pau Ferro fretboard which can be a bit dry when it arrives. You'll want to condition it with some lemon oil. I do this as soon as I get any guitar with a Pau Ferro fretboard. Do those things and you're good to go.

@@MackGuitarGuy Thanks for your reply Mack and awesome playing as always! Never realised some guitar frets on new guitars arrive unpolished. Love your recommended fix for this! Will it have the same effect if I just wear it in naturally and lemon oil the fret board when I next replace the strings?

Absolutely, as you play, the strings will naturally smooth the frets. That's actually what I did with this guitar. I just played it for a while and the frets are now smooth. I conditioned the fretboard with lemon oil but the scratchy frets didn't bother me because I knew it was going to go away as I played the guitar.
