I am 60 years old, and I eat everything I want except only eat twice a day, and stop eating after at 4:00 p.m., make sure sleep at least 7 hours every day. My body shape still same as 25 years old. Exercise is really help to keep your body and mind actively, when I sit down and eat with soft music, take as long as you want. Grateful for everything that you have.

He did say that veganism is the *second* worst diet after the standard American diet. You probably went from S.A.D. to veganism, hence the improvement in health? Most specialized diets are cleaner than S.A.D., so the initial improvement is always noticeable. In the long run though, we all need to re-evaluate our adopted diet.

I am 80 yrs. old & I was on Keto 6 mo. of 2022. I lost 35 lbs so easy & kept losing weight for 3 months after ceasing to be on Keto. I felt so good, no longer had to take medicine for Gout while on Keto. I was NOT hungry, I was no longer depressed, something I had suffered since in my 20ties. No joint pain. Keto worked for me, maybe some people feel like you mention, but I never did....Keto was good for me. I also never suffered with constipation, it was really wonderful.

Thanks for the information. I have to agree with you on the coffee, my grandmother lived to be two months shy of a hundred years old. The reason I agree is because she always had a percolator on the stove, on a very low setting, with coffee in it and she poured coffee in a cup, let me rephrase that - she plopped coffee into a cup and drank it all day long she would add little bit of extra hot water to thin it out and she sipped on it. She very rarely ate until Grandpa came home for dinner. I would say she fasted all day on coffee. Thank you for this wonderful video.

Here is the KEY, i have studied this since i was 15. Followed Dr. Paul Bragg and Arnold Ehret. Fasting is key to longevity. Flip your diet and introduce new things and take out other things and go back to what works. Add supplements and herbs. Everybody's system and blood is different and one thing will work for someone and the same thing will not work for you. Interval exercising is the best by far. I am 62 and went on a backpack with my 42 year old friend. 31 miles back packing in three days, then 15 miles biking and next day 8 miles kayaking. BECOME YOUR OWN DOCTOR. Listen to your body....Great interview.

Food comas are not good for sure. A friend of mine had a cultural name for it. Within his culture people ate until they can’t eat any more food. You should stop eating when your body starts to feel full! If you’re at a restaurant you can get a takeaway container for what you don’t eat & take it home! At home, we all have a refrigerator and containers to store leftovers!

My experience: I've had extremely painful chronic lumbar osteoarthritis for 2 years. My pain was in the 8-9 range without pain meds. I've literally thrown up from the pain. Was living on Percocet which would bring the pain down to the 3-4 range. Had multiple shots, steroids, anti-inflammatory drugs and even the nerves burned in my back. Everything made it worse. I went carvinore and within 4 weeks, my pain is down to a 1 WITHOUT drugs. Anytime I get off carnivore, the pain flares up. Clearly there is something I was eating that causes joint pain. Weird thing I never expected too, my poops have never been easier and normal. Zero issues. Fiber is a lie. Dr. Shawn Baker helped me turn my life around.

Cortisol being on of them, consumption leads to adrenal fatigue and constantly pressing your immune systems alarm button(cortisol) leads to an overreactive immune system(auto-immune diseases) and general inflammation in the body. Try to quit and see how good you end up feeling without it after you get through the withdrawal.

On my days off I would start the day exercising and then have a late breakfast and then hang out with friends. I always looked 10 years younger than my age. But then I went back to college where I started to spend too much time at a desk in front of a computer. I started rapidly aging.

I am 26 years old. I am losing my hair, have bone on bone arthritis in my hip, a herniated disc in my back, and all my other joints ache and creak due to alcoholism, over eating, and lack of proper exercise for a couple years. I've been eating what I think is closer to an ideal human diet and some things are slowly getting better but if they don't I do not wish to live past 30.

I've always ate the same amount of food, but ate everything I wished, and never have cravings, and was very fit and full of energy, and plan to start it again, cause it is easy to keep in shape

I have to say when I went on a 30 day green smoothie challenge after 5 days I lost hunger pangs altogether could go days without eating. Lost 25lbs in that 30 day period and felt great. That being said I’m on a carnivore/ keto diet now and feel great. So being vegan may not be great for the long run but for short burst nothing better!!

In the past 3 months, I ate only when hungry, ate healthily 80% of the time, started back eating meat/poultry, etc and fasted for 12 hours from 5pm to 5am roughly and lost the 20 lbs within a month or two. I hope that Dave looks into oleocanthal from high polyphenol olive oil. There are studies on oleocanthal which comes from green Greek olives (I like koroneiki brand) and in the study it would affect cancer cells and cause them to basically "pop" open and die because it triggered the lysosomes opening. Cancer cells tended to have larger than average lysosomes (like toxic hoarder cells that don't know how to declutter.) So when the lysosome opens, all hell breaks loose, causing the cell to die, and the immune system senses that something is actually wrong and fights off the cancer.

Hey that is really interesting about the cancer cells. I'm Italian and I've eaten extra virgin olive oil most of my life. I do intermittent fasting 16/8. Every day I eat two eggs over light, cooked in olive oil, then I place them onto a plate of mixed greens and tabouli. I drizzle remaining olive oil over the top. On the side, 1 slice of sourdough toast with a little camembert cheese spread on it. I stay full all day until dinner. I am picky about the brand of olive oil because some aren't real or all olive oil. I would definitely like to know more about olive oil and the effects on cells...interesting indeed.

How many things we must do ”the first thing” in the morning to stay healthy, to be happy and become successful and rich - and now reverse the age? Here are some accommended choises: 1. Meditate. 2. Write on your journal about your dreams. 3. Write down your goals and repeat them three times. 4. Take a walk and after it, take the cold and hot shower. 5. Drink water at least one gallon. 6. Take a walk outside. 7. Cleanse your energy body. 8. Make 10 pushups. 9. Write a gratitude list. 10. Do face yoga. And so on…all day is gone doing ”the first thing in the morning”-things.

A large portion of the problems with the plant foods we eat from whatever source is that the way we just eat them rather than previously preparing them properly through fermentation. We as humans have used fermentation throughout the history of human civilization up until the industrial age happened and we basically forgot how to properly prepare foods before consuming them because we just thought they'd done the proper preparation before canning and selling vegetables to us. But they didn't, they needed to cut some corners to ensure profitability. Now, however, there is no excuse for the way the food industry prepares (or doesn't) the food we buy from the local supermarket. Most vegetables require either some degree of cooking or fermentation to eliminate the "toxins" in them like lectins. With beans that means soaking them for a day, rinsing them and _then_ cooking them. Or you can bring them to a hard boil for 2 minutes and then rinse them before returning them to a pot to cook them in order to eliminate most of the lectins. And nearly every other vegetable will benefit by some kind of proper preparation before cooking and eating them.

I would go for long walks and just take with me, water, juice, dark chocolate, and a banana. I would get really hungry with my heart racing and felt so dizzy but I kept going. These days I only eat when I am hungry and try to eat twice a day. I bought a Nutribullet and make different blends of fruit and greens to drink. I have lots of energy and lost weight in the process. At night I drink one cup of decaffeinated green tea. Giving up the night snacks was my biggest challenge and I find the decaf green tea holds me over and actually helps with sleep. Morning I've been eating grass fed steak with eggs and a vegetable or bacon and eggs with veggies. Sometimes I have wheatberries with blueberries, cranberries, garlic and ginger. I also eat good bread with raw EVOO and black pepper drizzled on it sometimes with coffee in the morning. Lost 8 lbs in 3 weeks without any exercise, just occasional morning walks.
