@@bowlersvault No problem, I was doing bad at bowling practice today so I looked at some videos on how to hook the ball correctly

It might be hard for me using my thumb and getting my hand position like that to hook it

Explain in more detail please what you mean by let the thumb do the rest for you

Hi Jim! Glad to hear from you. This was a slip up. I meant to say “let the fingers do the rest for you.” Right when I accidentally said “thumb,” there is a pop up on the screen that says “fingers.” Check out my patreon page in the description of my videos if you’re interested in virtual lessons, arsenal building, and more to elevate your game!

@@bowlersvault oh OK. I was wondering, because some of the pros like Chris Barnes and Stu beef Stu Williams talk on their podcast, they do talk about the thumb that sometimes Stu Williams grabs the heck out of his thumb if he wants to hook the ball more..he said a lot of pros grab the thumb to create more hook, it’s not always relaxed, so that’s why I was just wondering.. I have tried grabbing the thumb more and it definitely does make the ball hook early

@@JSBowling2011 I would agree with that. Sometimes you have to muscle the ball if you want to manipulate the ball in a certain way!
