Praise the Lord. Today I faced evil. But I live and I'm well.

I haven’t sold anything, but did curtail buying stuff. And in gift giving, our family decided to only buy stuff for each other that we need, not frivolous purchases. But money is a tool and is needed to make it to the next day. Christians should have a nest egg and rainy day fund to address emergencies that pop up. To create such funds, we should all be frugal. One never knows when a flat tire or hot water heater breaks. Part of being frugal means not surrendering to marketing campaigns designed to manipulate folk from every dollar they earn. Selling off excess stuff a person owns might be a good thing, less is best, minimalism is an actual lifestyle! It might be a healthy goal for some who struggle with excessive shopping and spending.

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV - “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; “but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

You have to be willing to. Your security is in God! I took the path of the disciple like Jesus asked us to and God provided for me left right and sideways so I could be out there doing street ministry. We love people more than we love things!!!!

There is no other way but with Jesus. If we go far from Jesus, then when we pass over to the other side while being far for Jesus, make an educated guess who will be right there ready to take advantage of the opportunity to claim us. I prefer to be closer to Jesus...to make efforts every day to do the best I can to be closer to Jesus....to make efforts with my mind to put Jesus and the Holy Spirit in my heart, body and soul when I feel I am going a different path. (So difficult and valuable.) Undeserved Love and Kindness You give to us. Help us to Love You even more Jesus....to get closer to You. We need You in our lives. You came down to lead us in the right path of Good and Love and Kindess and Mercifulness and Endurance and Hopefulness and Wisdom and Good Decisions and everything Positive. The REAL question is if you lost your wealth would you still follow Jesus........I dare say 99.9% of believers would not

Im pretty sure he told the rich young ruler to sell all he had and give it to the poor. and take up his cross and follow him. But he went away and chose his possessions You did not bring up that teaching he gave.

If God will be judging and damming 99% of the world, then that makes Him a loser and devil, the winner… but devil HAS BEEN already defeated by Christ on the Calvary! Hebrews 10:12 says that He is sitting at the right hand of God, which means, His work is COMPLETE = Winner! He HAS won people back to God, and those 99% don’t know it. The good news/Gospel is: going and telling people that Jesus saved them already and who believes it, Kingdom of God “activates” in him and then he goes and brings the same GOOD news to other people and so on… As in Adam all people die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive I Cor. 15:22 We didn’t do anything to inherit sin, we were born in it; in Adam we all became sinners. Similarly, we didn’t do anything to inherit sinless nature; in Christ we became sinless and the only reason why people sin (Christians included) is because they see themselves in Adam = sin/death, and not in Christ = forgiven/life, and so they live accordingly, as though between Adam sinning and now nothing has happened! Are ALL people in Christ? Yes!, through His death and resurrection! Is Christ in all people? No! That’s the reason we need to tell people GOOD News!

When you become a christian, what is the Holy Spirit leading you to do. Remember, 1 Timothy 5:8 NKJV says ' But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.' If your household is taken care by your resources, then as the Holy Spirit leads you to give, to the Christian community and to the greater community. Then go for it. Who said you have to give all your property and wealth away to the church, to be a christian? Jesus only said that to the rich young ruler because he loved wealth. Jesus knew He would be competing with this young man's other God for the his love. Just giving everything away to a religious group, without the leading of the Holy Spirit to do so, just sounds like a religious cult, not knowing Christ at all. Peace of Christ to you.

Is there a way through scripture to calculate that in the end only 99% of the world will be saved? I know 100% of the unbelievers will not be saved.
