You may have discovered a farthing in an old cupboard or drawer, but do you know what the coin is worth? In this video I focus on the key dates and values of the South African farthing. Most of them are worth only a few rands, but many of them like the 1926 proof, the 1930 or the monster 1933, 1934 and 1936 coins are worth 10's or even 100's of thousands of rands!

It's not a South African farthing. The SA farthing was minted from 1923 to 1960. It's probably British. Does it depict a soldier sitting with spear and shield? Usually not worth much, except in pristine condition.
