Oh yes. I thought this was the best shit ever! As a kid who grew up obsessed with dinosaurs, this show was perfect for me.

This was literally such a core aspect of my childhood. 10/10

I didn’t realize this till years later but it’s kind of embracing that this show was the first and still one of the only pieces of dinosaur media that shows Hadrosaurs as not being total push overs

To be fair. This show was created in 2007. So for its time, the animation was amazing. Even though it is wacky, i cant help but love it. One of the best parts of my childhood.

I remember this show, sometimes I rewatch it when nobody is around. My favorite part is a very specific someone's love song. That song is stuck in my head.

4:18 Well, in their true forms at least. The main 6 dinosaurs actually had chibi forms that were 2D animated like the rest of the characters.

I know its almost impossible for this show to become as popular as it was before, but this was a HOLY GRAIL for every single indian child in 2010s. I am sad anime ended on s2 when it was at its peak, but honestly respect them for not milking it.

Bro this show was GAS! I watched it on Netflix (where it still is), and I loved its wackiness especially with how they traveled through time and across the world.

I’d love to see more Dinosaur king in the future if we are lucky. It was surprisingly good in multiple aspects, and while it had flaws, I had fun rewatching it now as an adult

I love this show, I sometimes still go back and watch it. I really like having a ton of characters and seeing how the interact with the others. This is what got me into dinosaurs, every time I rewatch it, I’ll just call out the dinosaur before they say it. The creators really took time with making the dinosaurs look close to what they believed at the time they looked like. I love the plot, though it can get confusing sometimes. In the end, this is a show that shaped my childhood.

if i’m being completely honest: this show made me want to be a paleontologist when i was around when i was 5 (2011) so it was a year after the show ended (to be honest, i still don’t know how i even found it, but i’m so glad i did) it fueled my stereotypical neurodivergent hyperfixation of dinosaurs and, well, now i’m 18 and about to go into one of the best colleges for paleontology. this show holds such a special place in my heart and i often go back to rewatch it. even after so many years, i’m still mad that there were only 2 seasons in the show. now that i’m more experienced with storytelling/story creation, season 2 feels extremely rushed in a way. season 2 feels like it should be in a much further season. i feel like there 100% should’ve been more seasons because of my bias and also because it feels like there should be stuff in the middle between season 1 and season 2. i know they kinda had to do this because of funding, but man i wish they could’ve done more. i would be all over the idea of this being remade and extended, but it’s probably not going to happen because of how unpopular it is

I remembered a lot of weirdly unique shows in my childhood in the back of my head. And Dinosaur King was no exception, I actually liked this show because I was an avid fan of dinosaurs back at my childhood days! But looking back, I just can’t help but like the show due to its action, silliness and its informative education on dinosaurs. And now, I became curious enough to watch it again as the unique concept of dinosaurs wielding elements is such eye candy to me. I like that you are letting more people learn more about this show and not treat it like it’s forgotten. ❤️👍

I remember Dinosaur King as it was a good part of my childhood and I still have my cards. but after watching this video I came to the realization that all I remember is of the first season, as I don't remember anything about space pirates or armored dinosaurs! my favorite episodes are (or at least the one that has stuck the most in my head) the Allosaurus one and the Saurophaganax one. it's been a while since I last heard anyone mention it, and even longer since I saw someone upload a video about it! so thank you for that!

I feel like you have to do a deep analysis on the DS game vs Anime. The story was much more fleshed out, and it made more sense for the series to be called dinosaur king since you collected every dinosaur and defeated every member of the alpha gang single-handedly. Also, the arcade and season 2 had a bunch of characters that influenced or had similarities to Dragon ball heroes characters. Crazy how a franchise like dinosaur king had a lot of connections.

Why nobody ever talks about music in Dinosaur King? Thats actually masterpiece Especially those battle musics, the way how they can be combinated with each other making is just impressive and still it gaves me goosebumps in some fights just from the music alone

I remember this is how i used to learn about different dinosaurs back then, i would always be exited to see what kind of new dinosaur they would acquire at the end of each episode. This show was awesome.
