Awesome technique! I used this in a 20 mph cross wind a few days ago in my 54' boat. Worked perfectly. Thanks and keep those videos coming.

It would be ever so helpful if you explained what you do with your shifters...

I've just bought a 36' twin so already know how challenging this is, even with 2 engines!

How I wish that docking in our part of the country was so easy. The wind is almost always blowing, The fairway from which we turn is only about 6 ft. wider than ourboat's length. Once we're in, there is no piling to stop us from our stern drifting from our slip into the boat docked on our port side. Our boat is operated from its fly bridge, which means that the captain (me) has to be very quick to head down and handle the lines.

Your not showing us which way to turn the wheel or what engine to use as your backing up.

A twin screw is inherently easier to dock than a single screw.. when docking always keep the rudder amidship . Learn where pivot point is on the boat. I miss working on boats. USAF Watercraft Tyndall AFB
