This is a fun video concept. Just a guy with his knives from past and present. NOT the same tired videos of the same popular knives you see on other video channels. Sebenza, paramilitary 2, etc etc. I like how you explained why you have these blades.

Some nice discontinued models. The lock on the Ambush was called the Rolling lock. I got one also. And i love it very much.

Hi, Doc- Great vid as usual. Your Apparition really caught my eye. Mine is black g10 w/ black blade. Never saw one with your style handle. I love mine also. It feels so much better in the hand than it's appearence would suggest. atb!

this is MY kind of knife vid.....since i've only been collecting seriously for the past 5-6 years...most (more than 60%) of the blades i'm buying are out of production models...from Microtech, Spyderco, SOG, Benchmade, Gerber, Kershaw, Emerson....as well as current production models......

Just tripped over this video again after a couple of years and I thought I'd offer the AFCK as an honorable mention you didn't have here. I've got the original liner lock model in ATS-34 with the old "Bali-Song" sticker logo and the Axis lock model in D2 with the larger oval hole opener in the blade rather than the round Spideyesque hole in the originals blade.

Hi, Doc- Man- I thought I was the only one who was in love with the "Apparition". Mine is the 672 in D2 with G10 scales. That round torsion "spring" really makes that blade fly out. I'm like you in that Warren Osborne didn't design much I didn't like. Great video idea- thanks!!

Man I have to agree with you on that Nitrous Stryker 912 I had two of them one with the Tonto and the other one with the recurve and the combo edge I bought one to carry in one in a box for my collection I sold them a few years back before they quit making them thinking I would repurchase it by the time I got around to it they already stopped production and I couldn't find them only on eBay and they're going for they were going for 200 now they're going for $350.00 and up also I like the Benchmade AFO 2 I've had one with a tanto edge plane and then I've had the one I currently have is the recurve combo edge black blade I carry it but just for self-defense I don't use it I got a plane blade ProTech I believe TR3 it's the large TR playing blade with no serrations and I put some skateboard tape on this face side of it and it's a user I'm not afraid to get it scratched her used I don't beat it up but I do use it!

I love the Warn tanto as well and wish that I had two. BTW- I really like the Warn's heft and overall feel. Enjoyed the trip down memory lane.

I have an old Allen Alishewitz Benchmade mini Stryker. It's beat to shit, but I want to send it in to see what they do with it. I had a mini-ambush as well. Good knife.
