Күн бұрынRussell T Davies is back with a brand new set of deleted scenes and introductions from the 2009 specials. These deleted scenes show Doctor Who's transition to high definition with Planet of the Dead being the first episode with this improvement.

I love how much Russell cares about every tiny scene and hates having to cut them. I’m also glad they didn’t include the speech from The Flood, it does make it more scary and mysterious

Exactly unlike Chibnall Russell cared about keeping things mysterious. Vashta Nerada,Midnight Entity,The Flood etc

I kind of wish they included more of infected Steffi and Roman honestly. We saw Steffi briefly twice and Roman barely. Heck, even if it was just both of *them* knocking at the door instead of Andy? Would have been cool i think, especially given the reaction Mia had to Roman’s infection

Yea ikr it wasn’t that obvious really would of loved seen this ☹️😄 and it just makes the episode longer and more character development which is good

I just suspected cause they were always shot next to each other and at the end when she ran off, he followed after her (sorry I forgot their names). Also, they seemed to end up together in the article, although as I said, I didn't know it was actually stated. XD

15:46 this little sizing up scene is great. Suppose it might've exposed the Doctors dark side too early. Because the build up of tension in the scene was leading to his shift from normal perky nature to him saying "tough" to Adelaide. This would've suggested an attitude far darker too soon.

I love the mention of the Ice Warriors, maybe the Flood will be mentioned in a future Ice Warrior story.

The Flood were in a comic featuring the Ice Warriors called The Wolves of Winter.

I had those Waters of Mars deleted scenes in my Fanfiction rewrite of the Tennant era with Rose staying with him and never getting trapped in Pete’s world and being a Time Lady.

No, they aired separately well after the series 4 finale. That's what makes them specials.

@@demiligne3456 but in the same way the runaway bride is the series 3 special. These are not in the fourth series, but they are the series 4 specials as that was the series previous to that.

@@demiligne3456 although I can definitely see where you're coming from, as they are detached from the series. It just makes sense to put them there because that's the order in the story. It's why I usually refer to them as the David Tennant Specials.
