NO!! Smiling does NOT mean she likes you! Believe me! It doesn't! I thought a girl liked me one time because she used to smile at me a lot. But no she only wanted to be "friends" with me! Don't let smiling be a sign of interest. I don't want you to be as disappointed or as heart broken as I was when I was fooled by her smile.

Josh I wanted to know if this is a strong sign that she likes me. So one day we were going out to the field with the rest of our class. She turns around shoots me a bit lip smile and says "Hi (my name)" and turns back around to talk with her friends. I thought it was the biggest sign I could ever get. (BTW I'm in middle school)

This literally happens to me all the time in public and yet I never capitalize. The sad part is I’m not even shy. I just brush it off and continue to walk even after getting multiple looks and smiles. I guess I just don’t have the killer instinct to go and close the deal 🤦🏽♂️

What if you catch her looking, you give her a prolonged smile and eye contact, and she holds the gaze and smile right to the end? When you look somewhere else, you can tell through the corner of your eye that she is still looking at you and smiling.

Wow, this man seems so intelligent!! Well, I've always been smiled at by girls, there isn't any moment in my life that i haven't been smiled at, that i remember for now. Now that i analyze the situation, at least i can agree that they are friendly, so talking to her might not be a problem, cause nice girls aren't mean. The trait of smiling, at least they are kind, cause if they feel bad by not smiling back means that they are polite, being polite means they are nice. Mean girls aren't polite.

not always the longer we smile at you and stare at you it mostly means we like you but if they smile at you becauseyour funny or did something odd we may look at you and smile because were friendly and curious.

Josh, about that other guy coming in and swooping the girl away, well, I couldn't do anything about it. So I knew that a girl liked me because of her friends, but because we were in two different classes for 2 years, she just suddenly stopped talking to me. She cut off any form of communication between us. And worst of all, she publicly displays that she likes another guy. So I really don't know whether I should confront her.

HEy Josh, Im in this class with this girl, she walked in late to class and i looked at her and she looked back at me. After we were one taking a diagnostic test she looked back at me twice. The next day she sat behind me and when i handed her a sign in sheet she gave me this really big and warm smile. Also when i chuckled at the jokes the teacher made she also chucked along, any advice or opinions on where this is going. Feel free to answer

This girl at school was looking at me and I was looking at her for a few seconds then we went back to doing our work but I saw her at a concert consisting of my band and her chorus we both saw each other after the concert we kept on looking at each other and she was smiling and looking down. I don't know if I should go up to her or not but she knows I like her.

So I said” yes I can finally lift this desk up” and my crush said to me “ I can lift it with one hand” and when she tried she failed and when I tried the second after she failed I did it. And then I said “ yes I can lift this up with one hand” and then she looked like some type of emotion I can’t explain and then she did not talk to me and I immediately regretted what I done and/or maybe said. So I said “ at least you tried.” And she said like a few sentences to me and I don’t know why this happened at the worst time because then right after that the bell rings and we never met each other for the rest of the day because we don’t have any other classes together and it was a Friday. Now I never talked to her yet because the weekends is not over yet. And the question is, was she just trying to play with me or is she really not friends with me anymore?

So, long story, I like this girl in my class (I'm in 7th grade), we look at each other a lot and just stare, and then start giggling. I really want to ask her out, but right after school, she's with her friends (we're together in the last class of the day), and I break, I get scared, but we still talk when we're walking to get picked up. Okay, so there's this girl in my 1st hour. I have a crush on her. Although, she's really popular, and I don't wanna say I'm popular at all.
