I could leave the house using the front door, making a bunch of noise and no one realized I was gone till 2 hrs later. I got away with everything bc they barely noticed me😂😂. Then my brother and sister started working, I started swimming and well they started noticing me....

When I was a kid I didn't like my siblings, I'm the oldest one, and they were pretty annoying and loud. Now I'm 20 year old and I love them so much, they're still loud and annoying but we share a live together, we support each other when everything seems wrong and share our happiness when everything goes well.

I'm in a similar situation. Except my sister is a year younger than me, and she isn't sad, she's very, very angry. At me. She has been. For like, my entire life.

I was the little sister in that sort of situation. I used to be a bit jealous of my big brother. But today I know we've both got our strengths and weaknesses, just in different areas. He has his strengths, let him know that. Heck, more than likely he's even better than you at more than a few things. Let him help you in that case. And he's gotta get in the good habit of trying all the new things that interest him, stuff you haven't even thought of doing maybe, and make his own identity. I was tired of people knowing me as "his sister" and always comparing me to my brother so trying out different classes and clubs, making myself more different from him helped (and was a ton of fun as I found new hobbies and such that stuck). As I got to know myself and built myself I began to really like who I really was inside and was growing into. I accepted my shortcomings but also still wanted to improve myself, but for myself this time, not to be better than someone else. It's not about living up to someone, but about living up to yourself. But it takes time to realize these things. I believe you can help him help himself. This is by my experience though, so take it as you may… To you and your families, the best of luck. :>
