Madras 1981-1982 - Question #6 from Question & Answer Meeting #2
"Kindly give a straight reply. Does God exist, or not? Yes, or no? If yes, how best to realise him in this life?"
This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

Beliefs do matter until someone has not realised truth. Its like a help in darkness, use it for the help to realise. Beliefs are not the problem, but keep holding our beliefs is the problem. We just get stuck into our beliefs. We need to make it as a ladder. Like in maths we use X for an unknown figure. We just use it and when we get the answer X is gone automatically. Same case we need a belief to use it. But people like fraud baba and all start selling beliefs and all the political mess is created. Thats what I think.

Thoughts written down are a grouping of words. Words are derived from the grouping of letters. Letters of the alphabet are symbols for sounds. Sound is nothing more than frequency and vibration. I believe that there is an entity which is most powerful than living beings.May be it is GOD ,NATURE what ever. If we pay too much attention on this, we do not struggle for livlihood and even forget our own capacity. We must depend on ourselves for every thing and take responsibility. After that we may pray a little and rest by making that power responsible.Even Bhagavad-Gita tells this. There are several instances of destruction of idols of very powerful and famous God and Goddess of India,in our history,by invaders and outside rioters. These were even worshipped by great saints. The idols must have power to retaliate and finish them.Is there any single such instance ?.Does it imply there is no Godliness in the idol?. Perhaps God is not bothered abot this silly thing. But it is true that a human being who is versatile and struggles a lot with the help of his body ,mind and spirit restlessly in one or different fields of human activities will experience the presence of something divine and enjoy it.But it cannot be explained.

This individual is truly enlightened, the only teacher I respect. His discussion on the parallels between belief and unbelief is remarkably insightful. His response to the question may be perplexing for many because they're accustomed to simplistic, easily digestible answers. Jiddu Krishnamurti grasped that truth isn't something that can be handed to someone; rather, it must be personally experienced to be understood. He doesn’t talk about the world beyond thoughts, doesn’t even give it a name. He knew that if he talked about it, it would be distorted, with people projecting their conditioning onto it. Instead, he only asks people to go beyond thoughts and see for themselves.

My takeaway from JK's talk: Belief is useless if you can't establish it as the truth for yourself. Belief is like a hypothesis, JK's challenge to you is to go out and prove that hypothesis for yourself with all the faculties inherent in you as a human being. Only then the truth will hold value for you. Belief is like a rose of which you know but know neither its fragrance nor its texture. Truth is the rose in your heart.

Thoughts are nothing but intelligent beings who can communicate with the human subconscious. When you start to hear thoughts those are aliens from another dimension communicating with you. Choose your speaker wisely. Because these entities speak through you whenever you give them the authority to talk. Sometimes these beings are so powerful that they over take your mind without you even knowing and you become a fluent vessel for them to use so that they can communicate with other subconscious, and create different realities by using you. Every time a thought arises in your mind you are being contacted by extraterrestrial entities who travel using energy that all living and non living things can feel. Yes non living things feel to. A fragile glass object can feel the force of you throwing it on the ground because it breaks. Watch those aliens y’all lol some are here to stay. Some are not.

Unfortunately Krishnamurti is wrong.. Even his own compatriots like Paramahansa Yogananda disagree with him . Krishnamurti never was a prophet , he never lead a major movement even less a world class religion , he never did any miracles . Jesus christ once told ,that you can know the false prophets by their experiences . Using the parable of the tree , that you will know a Tree by its fruits , and that to know who is a true teacher or a false one , all you need to do is to observe their life sucess , And krishnamurti never was a leader ,he was only a phisolophical frustrated person in life , that inspired no major religions and very few knew him. God do exist and Jesus spoke all the time about him , he even told the miracles he could do ,was not him doing it ,but his Father in heaven. Krishnamurti is a clear example of one of the many mediocre spiritual lealders that came from India . Paramhansa Yogananda also believe in GOD and he admired Jesus too.. one time also Jesus told "If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” [math 15:14] . and the reason why Suffering exist in the world is for the opportunity to help humanity look inside and seek GOD and elevate above all difficulties by their faith in GOD.. If we lived in a joyful world and everything was perfect , and suffering did not exist , then people would never find a reason to look inside discover their potential ,to rise and succeed even in difficult times , and discover GOD in their lives and know who they really are. Difficulties and challenges to push humanity into its creative Human development if all was perfect and joy and peace there will be nothing to proof ,nothing to show . then who needs GOD in a world ,that is all perfect.?

Once upon a time, there was an old man who used to go walking on the beach every morning before he began his work. Early one morning, he was walking along the shore after a big storm had passed and found the vast beach littered with starfish as far as the eye could see, stretching in both directions. Off in the distance, the old man noticed a small boy approaching. As the boy walked, he paused every so often and as he grew closer, the man could see that he was occasionally bending down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea. The boy came closer still and the man called out, “Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?” The young boy paused, looked up, and replied “Throwing starfish into the ocean. The tide has washed them up onto the beach and they can’t return to the sea by themselves,” the youth replied. “When the sun gets high, they will die, unless I throw them back into the water.” The old man replied, “But there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. I’m afraid you won’t really be able to make much of a difference.” The boy bent down, picked up yet another starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean. Then he turned, smiled and said, “It made a difference to that one!” He made a difference to THIS one. His wisdom and insight has changed my life and how I interact with the world.

Blessed is the land of our country that it is being walked upon by such great saints, thinkers, philosophers mytics who clears the doubt of a confused mind and their teachings helps us in every aspect of our life.

He was so ahead of his time. I think his teachings has more in common with Buddha's teachings. He squarely asks us "How do you personally know there is a soul or God? Don't be satisfied with books and Gurus, explore it yourself and find your true nature with all your will and strength". Beautiful message!

The questioner, just wanted an answer..yes or no.. A seeker, @chetan jadhav..with some 150 thumbs up, would not ask others about it, would not hang on others opinions, a seeker cannot follow.. If he did.., he directly became a believer, and to be clear in this: there isn't a believer who seeks the truth. Listening to JK does not mean you have to like or dislike. His words did not bring you a story of some sort. It is the discovery of the meaning of wat is told, and only inside YOU! And JK so often told us so, see the fact itself, not the speaker or his words. :-) Enjoy the wonder..

I have gone through many famous personalities in spirituality and observed that it does not even matter how much contrast in their each words but the main thing they wanted to tell us is that you have to experience yourself, your own self and love people with full heartedly and with full purity.

A word is a concept. He wanted us to understand that words are meaningless. Words just barely describe what we think the subject is, but the subject cannot be reduced to the word(s) alone. But the words are powerful. Its the "code" we use to describe the Matrix, so we'd better pay attention to what we say, cause this shapes our reality. Things exists out of the words. Things would exist even if we didn't had words for them. They would just be.
