Looking at the faces in the audience, I can’t help but notice the humility and purity that’s rarely seen these days. If faithful preaching attracts godly people, we’ve likely seen both here.

The huge difference between Sproul and John MacArthur (style, approach, accessibility, humor, warmth, etc.) is really striking. They might say and/or believe the exact same thing but with Sproul, you want to invite him to dinner. With MacArthur, I always feel like I have heard a lecture from one who clearly thinks he is smarter than everyone else. Miss Sproul tremendously. Thank God for video.

RC’s hair certainly has some body. Ha! Such insightful teaching. RC Sproul is a great expositor. RC had a sense of humor and I wish I would’ve had the opportunity to walk into one of those meetings years ago and spectate and say: “ I was just down by the drink machines and I noticed that they had Dr Pepper and Coca Cola but they didn’t have any RC Sproula! RC will be missed.

Dr Sproul’s teacher clearly taught his students that those who hold to false doctrine never stop arguing, they never admit they are incorrect.

I have listened to many of Dr. Sproul’s older sermons and have never noticed his dropping of the “r” in worship! 😅 I thought he was doing a bit at first.

OMGoodness! RC pronounces it "woiship"! I love you, Dr. Sproul and your teaching loses none of its strength for your lack of pronunciation but it does amaze me. ----------------------------- My argument to your professor's question would be that Jesus is God and Jesus has a body, therefore the Mormon is not wrong on this point. Fitting in with the notion of the triune God, God both does and does not have a body. God transcends our mortal thinking on this issue. My personal view is that Jesus has been that man that he is since before the foundation of the world. When it says we are made in God's image, I take that literally, both physically and spiritually. We, too are triune. I think Jesus and Adam would have looked like twins. I think it was the man Jesus when scripture talks about "the Lᴏʀᴅ God walking in the garden in the cool of the day." I have a tendency to ascribe every Godly thing in the Bible to Jesus Christ unless it is undeniable not Jesus, like when God the Father spoke from Heaven at Jesus' baptism. I think the flame in the dark that walked between the animal pieces Abraham had laid out was Jesus. I think the burning bush Moses saw was Jesus. I don't think there is a problem with that because all three members of the Godhead are "co-equal," as they say. If I should mistakenly call the Father Jesus, I have done nothing wrong for Isaiah tells us the Son will be called "the everlasting Father" (Isa 9.6). Does God have a body? Sure seems like it to me. Is God a Spirit? Scripture says plainly He is. God is to us, as is often the case, an enigma. Glory to our triune Gᴏᴅ!

So my take is to look at the tri-unity...trinity..."Let us make man in our image"...We as humans have a mind, body, and spirit...God is the mind, Jesus is the body and the Holy spirit is the spirit...working as one. 1 God...3 persons

How unfortunate to see that the vast majority of people have misunderstood God. God is indeed a Physical Being, and if you want to know how He looks like, just look at yourself in the mirror. We are all in His Image.

Materialists have as many problems as anybody. No matter what configuration atoms are arranged in, matter does not become conscious. Configuration does not produce consciousness. The brain does affect emotions, memory, and reasoning. That's brain chemistry. But brain chemistry does not explain the fact that I know I have emotions and memory and that I'm thinking. The soul is the spirit of man. It is not physical. It is the ego. The ego is me. I make decisions based on what I want at any given moment. What I want depends on what I believe.

In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God, the same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made. Jesus Christ is clearly taught to be the Word in human form. He is now and ever will be in a body, so it is perfectly correct to say that God has a body. The Father has not, neither has the Holy Spirit who are the other two person who compose the Godhead.

God does have a body!!! How could he not have a body. What houses his spirit. If he doesn't have a body his spirit would not be considered a soul. A soul is a body and a spirit. Are you telling me god has no soul... That's crazy! God has a soul. And a body and a spirit. I say this with power and authority from God. And in truth and spirit. And in soul because I have a body and a spirit. So in truth I tell you god has a living soul. Which includes a spirit and a body. And I tell you god is spirit. God is invisible and beyond human comprehension, except when he isn't. Afterwards we can talk about something from nothing, but leave me out of it.
