You mention skin cancer. If you are prone to skin cancer should you not use red light. I get checked 6 mo. For skin cancer and most times I have areas frozen, should I not use red light?

There is no proof that red light therapy causes cancer. I would just lean on being on the cautious side if you have an active lesion because it could cause irritation. Besides that very safe to do this at home.
