As old pugs go rust doesn't look to bad but it's like everything else all depends on how much you are willing to put into the car well worth putting money into my opinion looking forward to seeing more updates on it

Nice to see it as a running engine just the brake front set up and don't forget the servo air pipe needs fitting back on. As in the video there is just a hole in the servo

man the 106 looks hella rusty, mine rusted trough the front chassi rail in the front. you should check them

I would also get Alans advice on the rust repair b4 you spend any money on it as it might not be worth repairing

Unfortunately the rust looks bad on this one. Check the boot floor and behind the rear wheels. Would it be worth buying a low mileage standard shell and transferring all the rally bits over?

I'd get the rust looked at/inspected before you throw money you can get back I'm parts, that passenger side looks quite crusty and that chassis leg didn't look too good either, it's rusty at the back too as you showed on the last video, bodywork will eat up any budget very quickly, the mechanicals are easy

So... I assume the car didn't make it at the end. Sad, cuz I wanted to see it back on its wheels. What happened with it? Have you sold it after all?

mate... stop now..until you get the whole front floor pan replaced. throwing money at it is wasted if you can't drive it...put the parts money into the floor..get that sorted, then start the refit, it's pointless otherwise
