Had it for twenty years and it was the itch from hell!! Tried everything to no avail - it blighted my life. Then I tried coconut oil, gone within a week, oh the relief!

I haven't read all comments, but one thing you might want to try is a device called Anurex. It's basically like a reusable frozen plug you put in your butt for 6-8 minutes. The cold helps reduce swelling and itching. You use it with water based lube (little bottle included when you buy Anurex device). If the creams are not much use, like in my case, maybe it's worth a try. Best luck people! You're definitely not alone. I have been suffering with this condition for years. At least now I find more support in KZfaq and other social media. Years ago, when I searched information, there where nothing but cruel jokes and mockery about it.

Pranicura works, but the price they charge for it is crazy. I've been using it for 3 years, and find it invaluable. It's like calmoseptine, but has a more drying effect.

For years, just got tired of the burning itch, bouts of excruciating pain and the running to the toilet during work whenever I felt it. I’ve been to three different doctors with three different diagnoses and tried different sorts of gels, ointments, and creams but never really healed my bottom end, just temporary relief from the pain and the itch for a short time. One things for sure I do have those fissures and a tensed sphincter that just won’t cooperate at all. I just ordered one from pranicura just because you recommended it and because I TRUST you. I’m still a bit skeptical because I don’t really know if I will ever be healed but I’ll give this a try before considering surgery as my last resort.

I too have had this anal itching pretty severe for the last 3 years off and on. I think it has become an obsession now it happens 90% of the time at night and at it its worst the itch is so severe that the skin around the anus will bleed. I am so embarrased about this and i have never spoken to a Dr either. I am trying the Anusol cream as of yesterday which is zinc oxide based but i dont know if it will help. Usually in the middle of the night the itching urge becomes so severe i just cannot resist. Only once i have had an external hemmoroid so not really a haemorrhoid problem just the itching issue.

I didn't have any part in its development. it had already existed before I became a surgeon and surprisingly very FEW people knew about it! I do not know where it is manufactured, but I do know they are extremely careful regarding its quality.

So I can’t tell if my issue is internal hemorrhoids or an actual anal fissure. S/s itching (sometimes severe) bleeding, smaller than a pea sized external hemorrhoid, and painful pulsating pinch when sitting. The bleeding only happens during/after the BM. And the start of the BM will be fine but once I feel the Severe PINCH I know the blood will come and it does. Dripping. No occult blood. So I know it’s the anus. Started after a large sized BM (TMI sorry) I’ve been using steroid/lidocaine extra strength Prep H. It’s now been a month and know it’s time to stop the cream. So knowing that it’s an internal issue (mostly I think) any ideas on what CAN help ? As this cream is external use only? P.S I know I’m going to have a BM before my stomach even feel like I have to go because the nerves at the anus starts pinching and pulsing! Which is crazy! Please help me!

Dr I been suffering from anal itch more than year now I’ve been to a dermatologist they gave all kinds of ointments and cream but not effective only calms it down, but I did order pranicura this was a year ago it was helping with the itching, I finished the product but the itching was still there I don’t know if I was applying correctly I would apply it even if I didn’t have the itch there ??

I started having the problem about a year ago. It was driving me crazy. I couldn't even sit and watch tv in peace. Then I stopped consuming dairy altogether and the problem went a way. I wonder how many people are allergic to lactose or intolerant and don't know it.

@@EniolaIjaduolagoodnews Great! I hope other people catch on. Cow's milk does not bother Caucasians as much, but other cultures just weren't meant to digest it. It causes all kinds of health problems that your doctor won't tell you about. It's also helping ease my BPH symptoms and increase my energy levels. And I have diarrhea and loose stools less often plus puts me in a better mood. Moooo!!!!

dude i was so paranoid about having pin worms (i wasn’t sober when i found out about them online) that i drank straight half and half, and then coffee and half and half. didn’t go to the bathroom, and then ate a burger like 2 hours later. to only go to the bathroom around 9pm. realizing i probably just have hemorrhoids.

You should have seen my grandmother's salve she would make and it's ingredients, it stank to high heaven and yes, it burned! She said that's how you know it's working, lol 😂 and she would use this salve for other things, like bee stings and poison ivy just to name a couple. She would also call it a liniment. All I know is that it worked for the butt itch, I wish now that I had that recipe.

I keep a bump bottle of olive oil next to my toilet. After a BM, I squirt a couple pumps of the olive oil onto the TP. Easy wipes and cleaning!

For me, it turned out it was eczema, which is in the majority of cases fixed just by going for a swim in the ocean once in a while, or using something like sea salt, or dead sea salts. For some reason, doctors don’t like to recommend this. They will recommend steroid cream, which you want to avoid. The sign of eczema is if the skin is very dry, especially if you have eczema like symptoms elsewhere once in a while.

My butt started itching after about two weeks of using this cream but I must admit that it's been doing wonders for my chronic fissure. Nothing has ever knitted the tear together as much as this stuff does. Just not sure what to do about the itching on the skin around the anus that its causing. Ultimately i think I need LIS as the muscle seems really tight for most stools but I am impressed with how the fissure feels after using this cream as tbh I thought it was probably just a scam but something is def helping.

I use my finger, and if I am lucky, a fingernail that is too long. Gives me goose bumps, buy can cause inflammation if you are excessive. Sadly, I have not lost the sick habit of then putting my finger under my nose and taking a deep whiff. If you use a berry like soap to clean your finger, it often smells like pooberry.

OMG people, how I wished this cream worked for me like some people claimed. I purchased this cream like five years ago. I don't know how much it is now, but back then, with the shipping to Canada, etc, it was like $90 bucks. I couldn't care less, I was desperate. I followed the instructions to the last word, the cream worked for a few minutes, but then the product would "cake" in on my skin (no, I didn't apply too much) and then the itch would come back with a revenge 😭. So much so, that I ended irritating my butt even more, trying to remove the cream. I was devastated. The other problem I have is that my butt itches inside as well. If you find this cream works for you, God bless you. I am still trying to find relief for my itchy rear end.

You know, maybe a herbal detox will help since you said the itching is on the inside as well. Maybe you need to shut your system down and clean it out and see what happens. It could be a form of yeast, Candida. Maybe you can find a good detox video, Dr. Bobby Price has one. All the best to you, I hope you're healing comes quickly.

It gave me temporary relief, 15 to 30 minutes. Stained my underwear and can't even get the stain out by scrubbing with a brush and Dawn. I've gone through 3/4 of the tub without enough relief to keep ruining my underwear. Still miserable.😢

What if my itching is from a yeast rash or something similar? My primaries are of no help. Need advice where to go, what to do

@@yourfriendlyproctologist I had to go to urgent care yesterday. I do have an appointment tomorrow for a dermatologist. My primary prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide cream 0.1%. I believe things are much, much worse now. I stopped using after 3 days. I think it chemical burned me. Itching, swelling, and pain are horrible. We are coming to Disneyland in 2 months. My grandmother used to work in Santa Ana at a beauty college. If I am not better, I might want to swing by. We are in Salem, Oregon area. I can't even use the Pranicura now. The menthol burns too much since using the Triamcinolone Acetonide. About the only thing I can use right now is called Bottom's Up Balm, by Wise Woman Herbals. It barely helps, but not much.

i had a chafed skin on my posterior anus 6 months ago due to excessive wiping and my PCP gave me hydrocortisone 2.5%. i used it for a couple days and it got better,. i no longer wipe excessively, but sometimes i would feel a itch or irritation in the same area. its not something i want to scratch really bad nor does it burn, but the occasional discomfort is really getting to me. I tried vaseline and it hasnt worked. went back to my PCP and he told me i got Pruritus Ani and told me to use hydrocortisone 1.0%, but at this point i disagree with him and havent used anything nor seen any other docs. i am really at a lost here... idk what to do anymore and its taking a toll on my lifestyle

hi dr. chung. i really like your energy and your videos are fun. i feel a little weird about the new product placement. you even mentioned calmoseptine in your talk. the product you are selling is almost identical to calmoseptine, with the addition of kaolin, which is a clay that may be helpful for wound healing. however, unlike calmoseptine, there are a bunch of inactive ingredients like alcohols and preservatives. and... it costs almost 10 times what calmoseptine costs. and they are almost identical. i am feeling a bit disappointed about this.

The market is flooded with scams and it seems everyone is out there to make buck. I know how confusing it is because it's what I hear from patients all the time. In addition, not everyone in the world has access to a specialist like me. People need options and I want to inform people of products that can be helpful for their recovery. It's unfortunate that both calmoseptine and pranicura have ingredients that are known to cause sensitization and contact dermatitis.

@@rachelsherman5131 4 weeks later now, had no pain, minor bleeding, but all good. Even after skin tag excision and fistulotomy still have bad perianal burning and itching, follow up in 2 days with Dr for next steps.

What happens if the problem is an inside hemorrhoids and anal fissure? How does applying this outside the anus help with something going on inside the anus? Every time I poop the hemorrhoids comes outand sometimes i get bleeding from the fissure. will applying this outside the anus still help?

Shower after every bowel movement. Then try sitting in container large enough for you to comfortablly sit in filled with witch hazel and warm water. Pat(not rub) skin completely dry and apply cream. I use the Eucerin creme. If you smoke tobacco products,try to stop

Dr. Chung, I am 78, and have my second, and worse ever Fissure. I have spent over $100.00 on cremes, and ointments, baths, yada, yada, and nothing lasts, they have been very short and temporary relief products. I am just about at my wits end, and willing to try anything to stop the pain from this fissure. I am (like I said) 78, and very healthy for the most part, but, this Fissure sure has me stressed. I am going to order some Pranicura5 and hope for some relief. My main objective , is to avoid surgery.....I really enjoyed, and felt assured that there is some hope, using Pranicura5, so here's hoping...:-) Thanks so much for the , hopefully, possible elimination of this But biting Fissure....lol Thanks Mike Wa.

For all the years that I’ve had hemorrhoids, internal and external, I never had an itchy butt, I guess because I clean myself so thoroughly with baby sensitive wipes
