Right you are. The woman in red is Julith, and the kid with the Blue clothes and black skin is her and Jahash (The guy she's trying to revive)'s son. She is attempting to kill 1000 people to bring him back, but ultimately realizes that when both her son turns against her and her husband is not on board with it, she ruins her own plans.

What make that thing grayer is that those same "innocent" people were blind and full of hatred against her. It's because of them that she lost her husband and couldn't find her son. So for her, they are not innocent at all. I love this story so much.

@@WellshemFrom what I remember, it’s also revealed that the entire reason they hate her in the first place wasn’t even her fault. Her husband was murdered, she was framed, for it they saw her in the wrong place at the wrong time, and IMMEDIATELY attacked her

@@petermatis6083 In each case, it is never the hero(es) who get(s) the "kill shot": Nox: Technically wins the fight after blindsiding Yugo (who had him dead to rights before getting distracted by Ogrest out of nowhere), but fails anyway do to insufficient Wakfu/the Cube screwing him over. Qilby: Shinonome gets the final blow on him after he fends off all the other Eliatropes including Yugo, who simply finishes matters by putting him back in the white dimension. Ogrest: Gives up the fight due to Otomai's influence from within his body even as he and his dragon summons were cleaning God Tristepin and powered-up Yugo's clocks. Julith: Blocks Joris' final blow with the dofus, then regrets her actions and abandons her plan and uses the dofus to blow herself up (really don't see why Joris couldn't simply be allowed to land the hit, the outcome is the same). Oropo: In the series gives up the fight (noticing a pattern?) and abandons his plan, in the OVA gets overwhelmed by the cube without any input from Grougal or Chibi. God I hope S4 breaks this trend, already.
