1:50 "How these Jato rockets works in water, I guess they don't need air" You can clearly see that the rocket have two tanks for fuel, a red and a blue. You can deduce that one is the propellant and one is the oxidizer, meaning that it have it's own oxygen required for combustion. It's a nice touch of details.

the oxidizer releases oxygen when it is burned and the oxygen is then used to keep the fuel in the other tank burning

Former daredevil here, sometimes it was impossible to do a back flip on my dirt bike because the tank was low on gas and it wasn't enough weight to pull off the flip. I understand that's a strange concept, but sometimes you need a lil extra weight to pull off a flip.

Rockets do not need air, they use a mixture of fuel and oxidizer and therefore are self-contained, and that is why they can be used in space.
