Hi, Liz! I'm 61 yrs. old and am disabled. This last year has brought me a lot of heartbreak, mentally, physically and financially. I came across one of your $Tree makeovers and it inspired me to start crafting again! I watched every one of your videos in one day! I live in a town NE of Tulsa and I have 1 $Tree and 2 Dollar Generals and I will be visiting them all soon. Thank you for your inspiration!

As a Dollar General employee it’s so refreshing to see you show all the wonderful stuff we have! It’s seems like most people have negative stuff to say about our stores. Please note that not all stores have all this pretty stuff. I work at a smaller store and we don’t have room to carry all the home decor but after seeing this video, I’m headed out to a store that does carry it ! Thanks Liz

Dollar General is the only store in my small town. All other stores are over an hour away. I had never been to a DG before moving two years ago to this town. I love DG! Right now they have all their Valentines stuff 50% off. I picked up a few things last night with my husband. Bought my haul home and started creating. My husband saw how much joy it brought me that this morning he went and bought DG out on most of their wood pieces. He spent $25 on over 18 items. I can't wait to get started. Yes, please do more DG.

I love going to Dollar General. They have come a long way with their decor. I bought my BFF some vases with greenery and cactus, one hanging planter. Matching baskets. She told me I shouldn’t have spent so much on he. I told her Dollar General. She couldn’t believe it. I made a jewelry drop for her bathroom, she loves green and blues. Thanks for your inspiration. Her son had just painted her bedroom. I added a couple of Yankee candles. Her and her husband both caught Covid from her son right after Christmas. Her husband is still in the hospital because he has Parkinson’s. we’ve been BFFs since high school 9th grade. Anyhow he’s coming home.

Hello sunshine. Great finds indeed. I Love the idea of a bit of water used in vases with the faux greenery. The large tray is great with the blue and faux leather handles. Absolutely Love the black containers. Clever adding a nice piece of material to the bottom of the basket. It really does add an extra wow factor to it. Perfect sunshine. 🌞👌💕

Love your videos. This one is shocking. Every Dollar General in my area is messy with lots of empty shelves, and store carts full of crushed boxes everywhere. You have a wonderful store!

Our Dollar General is a filthy unorganized mess. Same empty shelves, and carts full of boxes of items waiting to be put on shelves fill up the aisles so you can barely walk through. Carts with empty crushed boxes as well. They claim it’s because corporate doesn’t allow them to have enough employees to do the work...but they have plenty of time to sit outside and smoke. Ridiculous.

I live near Morehead, I have 4 DG's 10-20 mins. away & they're all mismanaged, dirty & stock in the back ! Can't get thru aisles . Corporate should help out more ! I would shop so much more ! Liz, great video!! 👍

I think most are understaffed right now like many businesses are. I was in one this week and it was a mess but they were restocking product.

@@kathykramer6267 unfortunately our local store has been like this for years now even before the pandemic. There are 3 other small towns near me with Dollar generals as well & they are clean & stocked. Our store is so bad that it is not handicapped accessible due to the aisles being full of carts stacked with full boxes, empty boxes & random items just strung out in the floor. This has been reported to Corporate & they don’t seem to care. People from our community go to other towns to avoid shopping in our local store because of the mess. Most of this is due to pure laziness.

Hi Liz, we don't have a Dollar General close by, but I like what I saw in your video. The handle on the white cannister looks great. I really like the gray cement vases. I saw a nautical rope picture frame that I would definitely buy, and I love the wooden tray for a coffee table or a dining room table centerpiece. Thanks for taking us shopping with you!

You purchased everything that caught my eye! With the exception of a few items. I love the light SERENITY COTTAGE BLUE WITH JUST A SUBTLE HUE OF GRAY MIXED IN. I WANT AND NEED TO FIND PILLOW COVERS THE LARGER THE BETTER FOR THROW PILLOWS. GOTTA HAVE THE OPTION OF DOING THE "KARATE CHOP"..... I REALLY LOVE THEIR BATTERY OPERATED LAMPS/SCONCES?? TY FOR LETTING ME TAG ALONG. I LOVE LOVE THE PLANTER POTS YOU CHOSE, I THINK THEY WERE BLACK. I LIKED YOUR TRAY ON YOUR TABLE. I WOULD'VE ADDED SOME FAUX HYDRANGEAS IN SOME CONTAINERS AND CABBAGE ROSES MIXED THEN BATTERY OPERATED TEA LIGHTS. I LOVED IT ALL.THE BLUE I WOULD OF MUTED IT TO BE LIGHTER. PERSONAL PREFERENCE!!! I really loved your video from Dollar General. I saw those two tall planters that you got to go on the outside. I think I could use them to decorate for an outside wedding. I loved all of them and how you go ahead and show the DIYs in the video. But I really loved the tray!

Every DG has something different, you never know what you’ll find. I check them all out. I think they have the best price for the quality of any. Other store. I’ve gotten some really cute succulents & other nice decor.

I haven’t been to my Dollar General in awhile I will be going as soon as the ice melts I saw some real nice things I need to check on, I’m so ready to do some rearranging for spring. Hope you all have been safe during the latest winter ❄️ dump. The weather is crazy we were 7 degrees this morning at the lake but calling for 60 tomorrow , that’s Mo for sure lol.
