My next adventure in Dominica took me from beautiful Mero Beach to an impromptu party on a boat at night! Join me as I explore more of this gorgeous island and all the cool things it has to offer!
INDEE’S BEACH BAR & RESTAURANT: We tried some unique marijuana rum before heading into the kitchen to watch the cooks prepare a buttery coconut milk and mahi mahi curry, grilled octopus, fried taro balls, boiled taro, and fried plantains. The spices and garlic butter in the dishes were outstanding! We also tried a wonderful pina colada.
FLOATING BAR: From the restaurant, Nate, Bongo, and I headed to a floating bar where we had some rum with grapefruit juice and a Guinness Foreign Extra. We enjoyed it with a fresh fish kebab, which also contained onions and bell peppers. It was a great way to end our night!

Dominicans giving Jamaicans competition in their cuisine. I thought we Jamaicans had the best dishes in the Caribbean. But I was wrong we are neck and neck in cuisine. Their dishes look so delicious. Hopefully one day I may be able to visit Dominica and enjoy some of their local cuisine.

@Lorrainethompson we would love to have you. I visited Jamaica in 2010 and to date it is one of my best holidays. Jamaicans are friendly, very giving, straight to the point and are genuine souls.

The people from Dominica is really friendly, you can see how genuine they are . That restaurant was amazingly clean, very impressive. Very proud of them for having it that way. Ind & dee have an awesome thing going. I would love to visit one day. Even the accent is similar to Trinidad ! Way to WEST INDIES....

You have now become my favorite KZfaqr . What makes you different is the positive vibes you showcase. I have never seen you focus on the negativity concerning the development of any country. Keep doing what you doing. Be mindful that every country is unique in its own way. I enjoyed this video so much. You never hesitate to try any food. I also enjoyed the crab hunting video. I had some of the ganja rum during my visit to Dominica. Best for insomnia and depression.

David thank you for bringing a smile to my face. Your videos make me so happy, but they make me miss home so bad. When I saw the first video you did about Dominica some months ago, I said to myself; "this guy isn't doing justice to our beautiful island. Whoever was his tour guide, did a terrible job". LOL But you've redeemed yourself and I can't get enough. I was home for 7 weeks in the summer, and your videos make me want to go back home right now. I admire how you showcase the true essence of every country you visit which heart and soul lies in the culture, especially the food, and not the economic conditions. Thank you so much.

This video made me hungry. My favorite fish just happens to be Mahi Mahi, locally known as dowad which is dolphin fish and not dolphin, and my favorite tubber is also dasheen (taro) especially the purple one. Yum!

OMG. David: I enjoyed this video s-o-o-o much. Laughed from beginning to end. That meal that the women prepared for you all looked so delicious. All natural ingredients. So nice to see Nathan enjoying the food and drinks too. "Fly me to the moon:" they have a right to call that marijuana infused rum 'under the table'. Everything tastes better with rum. Very interesting moveable bar and I wish you played a little more of the island 🎶🎵 music. Had me dancing. Seeing Bongo, Nathan and you leaving at the end reminded me of people leaving a fete at the end of the night in true island fashion. Very, very enjoyable. Glad you all had such a good time. Dominicans are showing us through these videos how nice and friendly and welcoming they are. Loved the ladies: so funny and they know how to have fun and joke around. Can't wait to see the next one.
