--------
NBA legend Dominique Wilkins reminisced about his intense rivalry with Michael Jordan during the '80s. Wilkins recalls a moment in 1987 when Jordan walked into the opposition's locker room before a game with the Bulls. Jordan confidently told Wilkins it was going to be a "long night," later scoring over 60 points. Despite this, Wilkins believed his team had a winning night. Discussing their careers, Wilkins confirmed that he and Jordan averaged about 30 points a game. Jordan's famous competitiveness extended beyond the court, resulting in him being a consistent winner. This competitive spirit was mutual between Wilkins and Jordan, with the former stating, "We were trying to take each other's head off." Off the court, they were friends, but on the court, they knew no boundaries. Reflecting on his career, Wilkins admitted he pursued Jordan's scoring title relentlessly, but never managed to catch him.

Era kf mid range and attacking the hoop. Great basketabll. Tbis 3 point jacking shit is unwatchable. I grew up loving b ball and now can barely watch any of the games. Its boring 2 see 100 plus threes shot each game. Its boring. I was a 3 point shooter and mid range shooter and i hate todays game. Way too many threes and bad shooters shooting them a lot

My first and only time seeing MJ play live was against my Hawks, and I’m not ashamed to say I went to see MJ. It was an unreal experience. All I kept saying to myself was damn he jumps soo high on a routine jump shot. I also couldn’t believe how huge Kevin Willis’s shoulders were. Dominique is a legend though.

I seen MJ play live a few times. My most memorable moment was the 1993 NBA finals against the Suns,my home team. We had a amazing team that year with Sir Charles,Tom Chambers,Danny Ainge,Cedric Ceballos,Richard Dumas,Kevin Johnson (KJ,one of my favorite players ever),Thunder Dan Majerle and Kurt Rambis. My father’s company had a suite at America West Arena, that’s what it was called back then, and nobody was using the tickets so I asked my dad if I could invite 4-5 of my friends and he said “Go for it “ When we got there, there was a guy who had a smoking hot chick with him. I didn’t recognize the dude from my dad’s office so I asked him if he worked there and he said that he did and that he worked under a certain person. We were sophomores going into our junior year of high school in 1993 and the fridge was full of beer and they also had the usual Pizza Hut and Subway sandwiches in the Skybox. I told the dude to not say anything as we started drinking beers out of the fridge and I had him order my girlfriend a daiquiri or margarita and I offered to pay for their drinks but he said no. Since he ordered the drinks for my girlfriend I figured that he would not rat us out. He never did but anyway we loved our Suns but we were there to see MJ. He was just something else and the closest thing I’ve ever seen to it was Kobe. RIP KOBE AND GIANNA AND THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES THAT HORRIBLE DAY IN Calabasas. But MJ was amazing. When AI,Allen Iverson said that he seen Jordan’s aura I knew what he meant because it’s like he was unreal. Sir Charles and the rest of the Suns tried their best but it just wasn’t good enough against MJ and that’s one reason he will always be the GOAT!!! Paul Westfal,RIP, tried putting Thunder Dan on MJ,who MJ didn’t like because Jerry Krause liked Dan. Cedric ,KJ and it was MJ so they could not really do anything. MJ is the GOAT and he will always be the GOAT in my opinion.

Dominique was just as leathal as Michael. That's why eyebrows were raised when Pippen made the 50 Greatest team and Wilkins was left off. You have these recent fans who never saw these guy play saying Scottie was the second best player in the NBA. I'm like what😅? He wasn't second best small forward. I would put Grant Hill(before the health issues) in front of him also. However hose first six years check his numbers. Everything Scottie could do, so could Hill just better offensively.
