I just realized with Bonny’s ability to age people up and down: if her and Momo are the apprentices of the Straw Hats, she can literally age Momo back down to let him enjoy things as kids together and age them up to fight and be adults for stuff.

A way for Atlas to go out with a bang is actually how we met her fighting the Gorosei remember the giant holograms she might be able to get the holograms to fight the Gorosei as a distraction and the strawhats escape but the Gorosei realise they need to take out Atlas to stop the giant holograms. she ends the arc in a similar way to Bon clay. which is ironic cause Atlas can change faces too lol

Bonney on the crew would be really fun and could be like the smart little sister for Luffy. Her dynamic with the crew also fits really well. Luffy also has shown, that everyone around him just takes the freedom to be him/herself without second thought, so Bonney finally can stay as child and just have fun with the crew.

The only thing I can say from the drawing handpount is it’s hard to illustrate but luffys gum gum balloon attack is like a giant ball. All the kinetic force applied from sanji Bonnie and franky are stored in luffys ball as potential energy because it has nowhere to escape luffys is holding on to mars and once the hit is finished he holds on and sends all the potential energy straight back into kinetic when hitting mars reapplying the force. It works lol

Is Emeth the Franky of the JB past crew? I wonder if there might be more crew connections. Zunisha = chopper? Are the Elders able to into the sea?

My odd thoughts from this chapter and inspired by JB's review: Will Emeth apologize to Luffy (Mistaken him as the original Joy Boy) for not retrieving his hat back from the top of the Red Line? Will Oda reference Greek mythology and have Atlas become trapped by having to hold up the sky clouds, or perhaps the whole Labophase egg, while Sunny escapes? If Atlas does get "killed," will remnants of the worker staff on Egghead retrieve her body and rebuild her for a future surprise return?

I didn't take the luffy balloon scene like the oden scene. Just took it like luffy Operating on luffy Logic. He knows they regenerate, so he turns into a balloon and absorbs damage through luffy logic and redirected it out the front just blasting mars aways faster and farther than he can do alone. Or thinks that it is.

All them haters last chapter looking pretty dumb after Bonney got exhausted by a single punch We're setting up the departure but I don't think it's quite done. Vegapunk's transmission skipped all the D.tails we need, but the transmission coming back means something else could be waiting, still waiting for why Vegapunk waited for people to set up a video feed. We do seem to be setting up Atlas' death (and it bodes for the WG that the only Vegapunk that will vouch for the Straw Hats it the 'evil one') but I did like her, she seems at least aware of how York is monitoring them and maybe is veering away to lure the Gorosei to her. I am curious what the Sunny will do to escape, we could do a lot to help the Sunny get over the line; Robin's wings, Usopp's plants, Fish-man Karate, and most importantly - Zeus. Like why can't he merge with the clouds? He can carry Big Mom but not the Sunny? Ofc V. Nusjuro and maybe the return of Saturn may be at play there too. I didn't think Emeth was the name of the Robot but it makes sense, it has some power if it's able to hit Warcury hard where Gear Fifth Luffy could not. Also what does it mean 'the time is at hand?'. I liked him yeeting Mars, it was a clever way to remove someone immune to damage. Also it implies Franky has Haki, but the way I think it was working is simply that he was launching Mars similar to how he did to Cracker, just using the force of others while he held onto it. Also liked how completely confused Bonney is with Sanji and Franky's willingness to beat up their captain. I still don't think she joins the crew, nor do I want her to, she should be allowed to be a child for once, not a hostage or a fugitive - piracy doesn't play into her main dream anymore now she's found her father. Instead I have a theory that Kuma might be what saves the Giants, he can just blip the longboat away or the Gorosei away, it could even be a final act to remove them from danger. I liked the Kaku stuff, there's always been conflict in him but he's right that Lucci would try to kill Stussy on sight. The problem with Lucci is that I don't think he'd ever settle down, he's too violent to just retire and chill like Kaku would. The thing that could be a concern is if the Gorosei sic the Seraphim on them, since they have the highest authority. We have downplayed them a lot so if Oda puts them back in to save face it might do them some good.

Who else thinks this Nika to Joyboy to Luffy,is surprisingly similar to Appolanius to Apollon to Amato in the Mechanical Angel Aquarion saga ( Sousei no Aquarion, Aquarion Evol, Aquarion Logos).

My prediction joy boys name is going to be daniel. He's going to have a similar story arc of the prophet daniel from the bible. The book of daniel is based around a biblical apocalypse. Basically, it is a prophecy of when the oppressed are going to be liberated.

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter: 1. Assuming Yamato wants to prevent Wano to go back to the dark age that Kaidou & Orochi started, do you think she will make amends to the people her father wronged until now? 2. If Usopp & the others are late, then this may lead to a possibility where the Egghead arc will end with the Strawhats being split in 2 groups. Now the question is whether the Elbaf arc will begin with just one of those 2 groups heading there, or they'll find a way to meet each other before the arc starts? 3. It is no surprise that the Iron Giant - Emeth will team up with Luffy & the others during the next chapter. However, i now wonder if this may confirm my theory that the incident from 200 years was caused by a Nika user at the time, whether or not they were extremists like Hordy or Arlong.

This chapter basically proves why readers shouldn't be jumping to conclusions so quickly, have trust in Oda (We had a similar situation with Toki's DF in Wano as well) Broadcast piece is back in session and the Ancient Robot actually did something woah Franky's stocks after this chapter 💹 Luffy's durability is just nuts, it's right up there with Kaido in the One piece verse

In chapter 1117 Oda implicitly confirmed that the Gorosei were alive and present when Emeth attacked Mary Geoise 200 years before. When they see the robot on Egghead, the elders recognise it and they say "it's the same iron giant, there can be no doubt". I think that's quite a sneaky confirmation that the Five Elders are from the void century, or that at least they've been around for quite a while. What do you think JB?

Regarding the balloon sequence, think of a spring, slingshot or bow, where you put force into an elastic object and release it to launch something. Luffy essentially acted like a spring, combining the force of all incoming attacks and unleashing it against Mars.

i feel like the idea of emeth being a member of joyboy’s crew brings more weight to the sabaody parallel’s. emeth takes the place of rayleigh, a former member of a predecessor’s crew; and the gorosei, an enemy that the straw hats do not have the ability to harm, only the ability to manage. in both cases the predecessors crew member is capable of harming the new enemy. maybe emeth will teach the straw hats how to harm the gorosei in a similar way to rayleigh teaching luffy haki

I'm getting strong vibes that we're about to get two new nakamas. Hear me out: CP0 is definitely kicking Stussy out and might even kill her. While Kaku might have considered taking Stussy back if given the power, authority, and chance, we all know that Lucci would definitely exterminate her if he were in Kaku's shoes-unless Oda throws in a major plot twist, like Lucci having a crush on her and forgiving her. However, Stussy herself has revealed that with Stella's death, she feels her life has no purpose anymore. Unless it turns out that the huge brain is the real Stella or Stella somehow gets revived, the only thing left for Stussy is death. Staying on Egghead means certain death at the hands of the Gorosei and the buster call. However, I don't think she's suicidal; otherwise, she would have given up on life after Stella's death. Yet, she's still trying to belong to CP0 and asking Kaku for forgiveness and a second chance. So, let's consider her options for escaping the island (at least the one we officially know about): 1. Government ships (e.g., those used by the Gorosei, Kizaru, the Vice Admirals, and the usual cannon fodder Marines) 2. The giants 3. CP0 4. The Strawhats Since we've established that she's still clinging to life and not suicidal, I think she might desperately try to sneak onto the Strawhats' ship. Among all these groups, the Strawhats make the most sense. Why? Unless CP0 and the government forgive her (which is unlikely), the government will chase her as a criminal, and she'll end up on wanted posters. Between the giants and the Strawhats, the logical choice is the Strawhats. Luffy is a Yonko, and as we've seen in the story, the government refrains from carelessly involving themselves with Yonkos. So, Stussy's best bet would be the Strawhats. This is why I believe we might see her joining the crew similarly to how Robin did post-Alabasta, appearing out of nowhere on the ship. As a clone, she has a strong desire to belong and feel like a real human. That's why I think by the end of the arc, not just Bonney, but also Stussy, will join the Strawhats or at least try to become a member and ask to join.

My one issue with Bonney becoming a full member of the Straw Hats is I want her to live in peace with Kuma. Idk what can be done for Kuma at this point though. I think he’s still in there. That or I think he can be saved. Maybe Big Mom with her Soul Soul fruit or Lilith can reverse some of the damage. I just want them to have peace.

Honestly Bonny is somewhat very difficult to place in the future of One Piece. I understand the arguments for her joining the Straw hats, though i don't really see her future as part of the crew. The issue is, that as of now she might be one of the most wanted individuals of the op world. The world government knows about her ability to control the pacifista and we saw Saint V. Nusjuro taking them down without actually destroying them. So they definetly didn't give up on that power yet. But more importantly, on top of this, she just used the power of the ancient god nika and Saint Mars witnessed that. This is going to be an immense problem. Saturn already explained that the white form of luffy somehow can connect to her, though we don't really know the details on what this means. But we can definetly assume that the world government will go to any length to kill her now. The problem is her power level. she can't fight off an admiral of the marines. She can't flee the entire world and we gotta keep in mind that she still is just 12 years old. Her situation might be similar to Nico Robins life after she was branded as the demon child, but while Robin was just able to gain forbidden knowledge, her danger level still was fairly low unless utilized by someone like Sir Crocodile. Bony on the other hand is already insanely powerful which in my opinion rivals even someone like big mom or kaido at her age (atleast with the joy girl powerup). If the WG doesn't take her out now, she will definitely will grow into a powerhouse and they know that without a doubt

To me it strats to look like devil fruits have same origin as powersystem as haki. Somehiw devilfruits are artificial haki that is expressed specifically in a certain wau such as ice like aokiji. Otherwise it makes little sense why haki can overpower devil fruits in the first place.

Luffy was like stasis from botw building up kinetic energy lol. I thought that scene was kind of weird as well. Just my opinion but I think just getting joygirl to throw Luffy then use that velocity to yeet Mars would’ve been simpler and more understandable. Other hand I see this as a Luffy brain idea where it seemed like a mid air sumo match using his friends to help knock Mars out of the “ring”

I believe in Oda but I'm a little bit scare too. I absolutely love Gear 5 form because it is so beautiful. But I hope Oda don't go too much extreme with wacky fighting style to the end of the story. Is Bonney being Nika-ish another way of saying Luffy does not actually have the the Nika fruit? If Bonney could achieve it with her fruit, maybe Luffy did it the same with his. He still does, and always has had the rubber fruit. From what we’ve heard, someone who eats a devil fruit, instantly knows what fruit they have. Luffy still is confused when people call him Nika. And its weird that if its a zoan, that the actually zoan transformation is so taxing and had to be awakened first. Honest question, how hard was it confirmed that Luffy has the Nika fruit? Let’s be real here. Some strawhats are basically side characters. What did ussop chopper Franky do in the last 4 arcs. Ussop only gets 3 cool moments thus far in 1100 chapters and most of it was in dressrosa. Don’t get me wrong I love them all and there crew dynamics. But it’s just to few to far apart. It feels like they never even talked to each other about what they learned in the time skip.

How obvious is it that zoro will get mask or eyepatch by the end??
