I own the 901 from 2022. It is a great dissapointment. The flaws are so big that i can not be happy about the good stuff of the bike. Last week i sold the Husqvarna Norden 901. And did loose a lot of money by that. The shock is so bad that it constantly bottems out. The shock is worse than the one on the CRF 300. Then the mapping. You have to pay money for more options. KTM locked it on purpose. And to unblock you need to pay money. That is scamming customers. Indeed the windscreen is horrible. You also need to do the Arrow decat. Because otherwise you will burn. Especcially on low speeds offroad. And that is when you do not need the extra heat. I spoke to people who felt betrayed. Because after they got the bike KTM comes out with the Expedition. And where a lot of flaws are corrected. For just a little bit more money. You could say that KTM listened to their customers. But what KTM really should be doing is to compensate people who want to trade in their 2022 model to the Expedition. So that they do not loose an incredible amount of money. I will start to fight for that on social media. What KTM did is not customer friendly. And they also did it with the 890R a few years back. With going from 790 to 890 and also fixing the problens the 790 had. Like easily stalling when riding offroad. I and also a lot of others feel betrayed by KTM or Husqvarna for buying the 2022 model with all its flaws and then only a few months later to come out with a new bike. A bike that has a good shock. A bike that not gives you a headache cause of the buffeting. A bike that has the much needed explorer mapping accesible. I do not talk about things like an engineguard present from stock. But only of the stuff that should have been ok with the 2022 model. I asked Hyperpro for a decent shock. It would have cost me over 1400.00 Euro. For a bike that is promoted in advertisement as a good offroad machine with luggage this was just a complete lie. It is even dangerous to havr such a bad shock. Sometimes i almost was launched from the bike when riding offroad. I see it that Husqvarna has do a recall to replace the shock. Soon someone will be hurt badly because of that rotten shock.

I really like your "fixes"... I put my money on an old NX650, TEC-7, zip ties and a few pieces of 2 and 4mm aluminium...🤣

Dont buy KTM/Husquavrna products. My Norden 901 is broken at the dealer since 1 month. No Bike. But Bank payments. I will never ever buy one of those bikes. All the way for Japan bikes.

it does have some legit real shortcomings like the suspension which is very disappointing even my crusty old 1999 EXC came with better stock boingers , id have gladly paid extra for the option of the KTM "R" spec boingers , the intake system on this bike and the 890 dont seal up tight enough it seems or are at least a known weak spot and to me the cable clutch as i always associated ktm/husky with the velvet smooth consistent hydro clutch even my crusty 1999 has , all of these are easily fixed but it takes money $

Bring back the XR 650 L for god's sake .
