No one is having a child with someone who they don’t see a future with. Obviously the relationship didn’t work out. What I can’t seem to understand is why someone cares so much about another person’s situation. If you ain’t helping or supporting then why do you care? Marriage or single doesn’t equate to a happy home or happy child. Safe and supportive parents is what matters.

What if the single mom is single because the father passed away? Women don’t choose to be single moms sometimes life unexpectedly happens and they are put in situations like this. That doesn’t mean they can’t have a decent partner again in their lifetime because they have a child or children.

And the dad may actually be playing his role without any drama. It could be a relationship that just didn’t work out. Some women just want a man but don’t need him. Single moms have a right just as anyone else to choose a partner for themselves and their child. It’s unfair to think that a single mom should be single forever because she has a child. Things happen and sometimes a parent can pass away which can cause a woman to be a single parent. There are single people who date people with kids and it’s no issues. And life can humble you quick because I’ll never want to be in a situation whereas I have a child and something happens to the other parent. Some single parents are single parents without having a say so and it’s isn’t fair to say they can’t have another decent partner because they have a child. It’s 2024 and life happens a child from a previous relationship isn’t stopping anyone from finding another partner. i've seen some single guys really get messed over in these types of relationships. i knew a very well-off guy who fell for then pursued a married mom of 3... She ended up divorcing the husband to be with this guy and he even ended up having a kid with her after they got married. He bought them all a huge house and put in a fancy pool/treated them to lavish vacations. Needless to say that's when everything went south... he became very resentful of her lifestyle with 3 already pre/teens and now rarely comes home to see his own kid (he works overseas).. i think they are still separated. not sure if the divorce is yet final. Just a tragic example of how messy it can get when you get involved with people with kids/who've already had their families, if you will!

I have one, and it's never been a issue. My son is 20+ tho so that prob makes a difference. The struggle is real for women that have multiple kids/BDs. Guys don't seen to take them serious.
