The role of the police doesn’t seem well defined at all. Comments like “it’s a public highway..” “they are there for protection..”. Of what? They all act differently! The female officer and the officer with a red beard seem the most pro-active and very observant. Again I say it, their senior officers should watch just 30 minutes of one of these videos, then advise accordingly?

@@nala768 Most likely, the Police tell them to respect the boundaries around the Household Cavalry. The ignorant tourists wouldn’t want to listen and keep denying their ordes

Look at the police officer standing by the gate saying behind the bollards and people still taking fotos , he sees it happening and does nothing . Someone should report him to his senior officer . Watch the video yourselves . He is a joke , should never be employed as a police officer .

This was a pleasure to watch. This horse is very calm. I’ve watched so many of these and usually horses are biting every other person who gets near. If any reins were touched I didn’t see it. Only those ones who try pulling on it toward them get yelled at. Why anyone wants to pull the reins I don’t know! Most people don’t know horses and don’t understand what that means to the horse. It’s a signal of a certain communication to the horse. Don’t ever pull reins unless you are the one on the horse!

Disrespectful tourists keep having their photographs taken despite being told to get behind the bullards perhaps keep them from doing it and disrupting the work of the Kings lifeguards. Love seeing the great work you do keep it up.

Seriously tourists/people, they seem they’ve never experienced Changing the Guards. If the Police around the Household Cavalry tell you to get back behind the bollards. This is for safety, you wouldn’t wish to get by those majestic creature, would you ?

I wish these police and guards would make the people follow the rules so plainly placed . Also make people move back to where they are supposed to be. Don’t crowd the guards. They are on duty. Not there for your pleasure or to take pictures.
