I just dropped out of college right at the middle of my degree. As a 27 year old man with little laboral experience. I've always struggled with school in general and these years in college just made me feel trapped in a loop where I can't have an stable job bc of assignments or projects. Plus, I have this mindset of, I am not willing to turn in any work that I know it's bad or does not fit to what they asked for and just turning it for a grade is the same thing as failing the class. I hate that, watching students turning in mediocre work just for a passing grade was a detonator as well A college degree is important, but I feel your experience and creativity has way more value. I would like to go back in a certain point but I feel like I need a break from school

I dropped out around the same time man! I only had like 2 years left, but i have no regrets. I hated going to class, submitting my art work and feeling like my career was being controlled by someone just based on their opinion of my designs. I couldn't do it lol I always said i would go bac but the further i got away from it the more i realized i wasnt lol You're right tho a degree is important and can help but creativity is way more valuable. I realized along the way that we all can find our own paths and whats for you won't pass you up! Thanks for watching & commenting bro! Would love an update on your career in the future!

As I am going to school for graphic design myself, I found this video having one thing that others don't and that is the truth. I know it will be competitive and the part that kills me the most is not being able to work on what I want to work on.

I went to college to become a teacher. That didn't happen. I dropped out in 2008. I've been doing graphics design since 2006. I'm self-taught. I just need help in getting clients and starting a business.
