I say fuck Epictetus, who says “Speak only what is necessary.” I like hearing people’s streams of consciousness when they are smart and nuanced, like you. I totally know what you mean with having to dumb yourself down for therapists. I’ve never had one therapist that could ultimately keep up with me, even with a PhD. You’re just being honest when you say the same thing. I’m glad your repression/suppression work is helping you. I feel like I could use a therapist right now, myself. But so many are frankly “quacks.” Clinical psychology and therapy professionals seems to often have a lot of mental health problems themselves that don’t seem like they’re being addressed, including the hero complex many have.

When it comes to farts in jail. There are two options. 1) announce, in advance that you are going to fart and pre apologize. or 2) Try to let out an SBD (silent but deadly) fart and then blame it on some new fish or one of the pretty boys. Never let out a disguising fart around the Aryan Brothers. They will immediate beat your ass.
