The defendant used to date the plaintiff's daughter. The plaintiff alleges the defendant once had his daughter arrested for domestic violence and vandalized her car. The plaintiff says he agreed to let the defendant use his credit card to rent a pressure washer for his business as long as he paid him back. The defendant kept the pressure washer longer than intended and didn't pay his daughter's father back, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues he agreed to clean the plaintiff's property in exchange for the loan.

It may be your place of residence, and it may be you, and you alone on the lease or deed but if someone is staying with you and they have for an extended amount of time you can’t just walk in one day and decide they need to go. Illegal eviction, the most common type and lots of people don’t know they can be sued for that

It sounds like the defendant likes his women young, dumb, and disposable...the type of young starry-eyed women who are easily impressed by a man simply because he has a car, job, and his own place, but can't yet discern character. If the woman he put her out for sees this, I hope she's figured out that she's just as disposable...And I bet she's young like the plaintiff's daughter. I did find one thing odd about the case---the fact that the young woman is M.I.A. and not even present to be her father's witness.

@@locafly Jail or prison? Because if it's just jail, she should be able to get bailed out to be her dad's witness in a case in which she plays a role. In fact, the daughter actually has a stronger case against the defendant (i.e. unlawful eviction...w/o notice) than her dad. It would have been better if she'd brought her own suit to court.

What yall fail to realize is that the judges and court shows have additional paperwork and information that we are not privy too. So, judge Mathis judgement may be correct based on the information that was presented to the court. Everything is not shown during the recording.
