This is honestly one of the best always ons ive heard in a while. Like multi genre this could be the base gain stage for alot of clean amps.

this pedal sounded great. a bit of an idea to consider, which no reviewer really does on the regular: it would be really valuable to see a comparison of some similar pedals for a bit even briefly. i know you’ve done some with that intent before but integrating even like 30’secs of comparable pedals would be cool in a vid like this

Well I think the reason for that. This video is specifically for The Winter . Once you start adding other pedals to the video . The comment section tends to go into the direction on which one is better etc . Now if I was doing a comparison videos of different overdrive . Then yes I think that would be a great idea . But when I video is solely for one piece of gear . I tend to not try to make the video a rivalry I guess . But if an overdrive comparison video is something you would like to hear . I can’t definitely try to make it happen in the future . I appreciate you checking this one out !

One video comparison exists, by "Milian Malivuk Music" video title "I built the most stupid pedalboard". It might be the only comparison video that exists, it's usually up to the users to make this type of video as we never request these ourselves. But feel free to ask any question you may have about the design of the winter, as I know the design of similar pedals and I would be able to tell you the differences. If you want to get a better idea of what the pedal does, check out our channel, we have playlists with as many videos as possible for each of our pedal, sometimes with user reviews.

Nice to hear it plays well with low tunings. I'm in drop A through a rockerverb (or EaE model FeT through a Hiwatt) and it can be challenging combination at times with certain pedals, not to mention sitting in a mix right.
