I would just like to let you know that you changed my life in a way and inspired me to sit down for 4 hours and instal Mame onto my computer and load a bunch of games on it. You technically have 4 versions of DK in this cab now. DK3, DK jr (your original board roms), DK Jr Remix, and DK Jr. "Classic" ( which is the classic option in the remix boot animation, its the original game, but John has fixed the bugs from the original).

Wow, two in a row after the short hiatus, sometime you do actually spoil us. Though as excited and enthusiastic we get for the vids, you are allowed to live your life, we'll understand. The content is worth the wait anyhow and I for one appreciate the long episodes instead of splitting them up into 10 min segments.

John I know what to do on that first platform level. The springs are used to get onto the platforms just like dk junior. Then you work you way across the chains going left up then right then down on the chain directly above the 🔑

I am wanting to upgrade my dk jr to double Dk remixed. Can I still run it in coctail mode witht the screen fliping? Is the coctail / upright togle still working on the soft dip switch menu?

Even at 1200 for a Donkey Kong, way better than pinball machine collecting. Pinball prices are bruising. I really like DK junior but it was so hard! Quarters drained out of my mom's purse.

Just wondered why you need the z80? just the socket pins and everything could be put on one a chip, with a modern faster processor make the game more responsive and smoother. I'm assuming there's a reason why it isn't done like that what is it. Eventually these processes will fail with age a replacement is overdue

I have never noticed any jumping lag but i do however find DKjf feel very heavy to control,his jumps feels so out of range, and his jumping sounds sounds so nervouse as if he is nervouse to rescue his daddy. BTW DKjr looks as hard as son of a bitch but that does not mean that it is not fun, no,if you are in to a new challange, then this is the game we should definitaly to have!!! And BTW that flash screen, i do have the same issue on that multi arcade cabinet,sometimes it even shits down when i go too rough with the controls, i don't know what it is, maybe those connections of chips and cables are lose or wear out cartride pins, i readed that nintendo did had issues with the cart connector from their arcade machines and because of this they designed their cartride system for their famicom, tested them 5000 times in a row to ansure reliability!!!
