I used to play a similar game all the time. The one I played, you had to get the ball to the top. It would creep up faster and faster each round.

@Johnsarcade have you guys done a review on the Galloping Ghost Arcade & Pinball in the suburbs of Chicago in Brookfield??? It has 900 plus video games and 40 pinball machines in 2 different buildings 2 blocks apart

I loved this game every time i went in the arcades at the sea side star war and turbo was the go to for me i would love to have this arcade in my house but the site down version and the sound was amazing with the beautiful colours

Going back and watching a lot of Johns old videos and this has got to be one of my all time favorites. Everything about this machine is just amazing. The fact John got so many people to come and talk about it was such a joy to watch and learn about. Hope someday we get more videos like this one!

Man, thanks for this video. Very helpful. Thanks for some is the laughs along the way. I just picked up a Tempest and it is a project. However, where can I get the part that the legs snap into on the backside that the three wires are soldered to? Mine are all rusted over and I suspect are one of many reasons why my monitor is not working. Thanks.

Came back here to say, we miss you John! It might be 2024, but sometimes your videos bring us a smile or two. I love revisiting older videos to leave on as audio noise for my ears when I’m asleep or working on things. It’s just not the same :( hope we see you sometime soon!

I have a strong suspicion that score loss is down to a dry capacitor as you also mentioned heating issues which is notorious for causing it

High on straightaway, right before turn kick it in low and release the gas, then coming out of the turn throw it back into hi gear and slam on the gas.

2024, i thought you said not to just plug it in, check voltage for the power supply but then dont remove the connector for the pcb??

After all the support from viewers / fans from the start, John has no respect at all for them here for some reason ?? As you said, a simple update or live stream to tell us what's up wouldn't hurt and wouldn't take much time at all... Some would say "he owes us nothing!", I think differently after giving him hours after hours of views on this channel. It's a real shame 😐
