Love the way you are able to make 'different' patterns on the same quilt ... something to pay attention to when looking at different quilts. Not the easiest thing to do, but you have an eye for that. Great tutorial! The colors have a calming effect ... great for putting you to sleep gently.

Donna this quilt is so soothing and soft. I believe a hard day would come to an end when If I climbed under this quilt on my bed. I love to sleep in white sheets and this quilt would be wonderful to put over them. You did an excellent job picking out the material and color combinations.

I LOVE THIS ONE!!! I have watched at least 2 yeats worth of your shoiws. I didn't uetanding seam allowances at first as I havent done quiltin on a maching ever. Just by hand at a church quilting bee. I am retired myself now and have spent 12 years helping raise 4 grands with parents and then 2 grands with parents the last 8 months. Its time to get my own home again and do my own thing. I love your tutorials, I hope to win something soon. I enter all thre recent giveaways, not the decent ones. I love your easy explanation of quilting. Thank you so much. You are very patient and kind to do all this for so many on you tube, daily. I spend about 10 hours a day watching you tube, news, quilting, beading etc, anything needle work, crochet. Until I find the one that teaches me best for me. Yes I would love to be locked in here with all the precuts, lol

I've admired this one for a long time and today is the day I will finally make this pattern! Your "tips" have been so helpful--especially the finger pressing of the seams and putting that weight on the ruler. I have a lot of charm packs and layer cakes so glad you are using these in many of your patterns.

Another quilt on my TO DO LIST !!!! how will I find the time to make all these wonderful quilts. I love how you just pick out a bundle of charm squares and actually see the end product. Hi Donna, This is a favorite quilt pattern. I have made several 5 star quilts but have struggled to figure out how to make it queen sized (with more stars instead of larger borders). DaleandGail Isn’t it amazing how different fabrics can change the whole “personality” of a quilt! I use my quilting software to design and preview how certain fabrics will play in those designs. The difference can make or break a quilt. Lol

I really like your videos and have been watching your tutorial playlist while at home during these stay at home orders for covid. I've been a long time knitter and crocheter and made many large projects that way, and have made many smaller sewing projects before, but I've not had the courage yet to try out sewing a whole quilt though it has been on my bucket list for some time. I like how your video tutorials make these big projects seem straightforward and less daunting, and I really like how this pattern in particular ended up looking so beautiful and complex despite being made of such simple blocks. I have to say your videos have definitely made me want to dust off the sewing machine and look seriously into picking out some fabrics for my first quilt, I'm sure it will turn out a little wonky, but it should be fun! Thank you for posting!
